man, this is sad. I remember when he was first traded to the Bucks (for a little known prospect named Dirk Nowitzki...) and I was able to meet him and get his autograph at a season ticket holder's meeting. RIP.

R.I.P robert but im just curious as to why he passed away.

Heart attack.

His NBA career ended due to a heart condition. He had previously had a heart surgery to try to fix it.

People dont realize that a heart condition keeps guys from working as hard in terms of staying in shape. Thats where the weight gain of fat came in for Traylor. The work it takes could potentially be deadly as seen by multiple NFL & NBA guys who passed away while working out to maintain playing shape.

RIP. Heart conditions really suck.

I remember my team drafting Nathan Jawai. He could hardly play/practice because of his heart condition. I'm surprised that Tractor even had that condition considering how long he's been playing.

... I hope this doesn't happen to Eddy Curry anytime soon.

How strange that this happens just as the guy he was traded for over a decade ago if well on his way to leading the Mavs to the title.
