Mavs are already scary, just imagine when Caron and Roddy B get back on the court (It'll be nice to have them playing for this finals run)

could end up hurting there chemistry might push peja out the rotation..
well so tho doubt he comes back, and about a finals run getting ahead of yourself a bit there

If Peja and Barea are pushed out of the rotation, this would be a negative thing.

Dallas was playing great with butler in the rotation. this is great news for the mavs. butler is the 2nd best player on that team when healthy.

I mean i doubt Caron is going to play any significant minutes anyway, I just wanna see him on the court trying to contribute to this run...i think after sweeping LA, its fair to call it a Finals run..Memphis and Okc arent even on LA's elite level..but we shall see I guess

this is a bad thing. butler cant shoot 3s. no chemstry. i heard he was done.

I don't like it... Don't mess with a good thing, see Magic in the 2009 Finals, bringing back Nelson may have been the biggest mistake in franchise history.

Don't look for him to play big minutes. Peja is playing out of this world; their rotation is perfect.

Mentally, emotionally it's just another bump for the Mavs to have another guy back. I hope they win the title.

they shouldn't put him in the rotation. he'll just fail like Jameer Nelson did in the 09 finals and **** the team up.

Just let them play with the current rotations, put them back when the rotation is not working. I hope they don't end up like the Magics when they put back Nelson after a good run.

Carons Butler would be good for the mavs, but can potentially disrupt chemistry. The mavericks, have things working out for them, why change it? A similar situation caused the magic to get blown out by the lakers in a NBA finals game.

Oh yeah, u guys are forgetting the Mavs have a top 5 PG in the league (yeah i said it!), their not gonna **** up chemistry, he'll make sure of that :)

I don't think Caron returning this season will be detrimental to chemistry. Seeing as how everyone on the team begged Cuban and Donnie Nelson not to trade him at the deadline.

stories like this are always a mixed blessing. It'll take time to round him back into game shape, and in the playoffs the margin of error is that much slimmer.

Not sure this is in there best interest, Carlisle is going to have to be very careful working him in........and who gets cut out of the rotation? Marion? Peja?

Don't need him now. Remember what happend to Orlando in 2009 when Jameer came back for the finals? It thru everything off and why the Lakers crushed them. They probably stood a better shot without Jameer coming back then him coming back.

It cant really hurt the team imo, i doubt they give him alot of minutes out of the gate, he is just getting back.

At first thought, it seems like a good idea. But if i'm a mavs fan why change things? If it ain't broke dont fix it. This could lead to chemistry issues

when you have butler on your squad and he is healthy YOU PLAY HIM.

lol @ people saying he'd cut into Peja and Marion's minutes. Apparently people forget that the terrible DeShawn Stevenson plays, and starts, for us

Kyrie Irving comes back for Duke during the tournament and gets Nolan Smith all out of sync. Devils barely get by Michigan and get stomped by Arizona.

Point being: adding players to a team that's rolling can derail the entire thing.

TBH if he is activated he should play little minutes if any.

Incredible mental impact yes, but on the court? no

I love my Butler but still

DeShawn is the Mavs glue guy/swag holder TBH

Talent wise Caron ***** on him but that chip he has is important for a team this loaded

See: Why the **** does Mike Finley start for the 2007 spurs

I would rather play Peja. Peja is proving that hes a smart player and is catching on fire lately.

No he isn't. Terry is the second best player on that team.

Huh what? Second best player or scorer??...cause Jason Kidd is easily the Mavs second best player...

No he isn't. Kidd isn't triple double every night Kidd anymore. Terry is the 2nd best scorer, 2nd best 4th quarter player, best bench player, instant offense. Also, Jason Kidd should stop shooting 2-10 on threes lol, give it to Peja!

If Peja and Barea are pushed out of the rotation, this would be a negative thing.

Neither will be pushed out. Stevenson would be pushed out, that's all. Peja would still be the backup 3, and Roddy isn't likely to play much, he has been available but not playing, so I see no reason they would just bring him back and take over Barea's minutes. But if he does, he just adds a whole different dimension to our offense in short spurts. Barea isn't going to be effective against every team, he was against LA, not so much in Portland. For instance, Barea could be good against Memphis, probably not against OKC

I would rather play Peja. Peja is proving that hes a smart player and is catching on fire lately.

Peja is good in spurts in situations. If he is cold from the outside, he is a huge liability on defense as well as not scoring. Butler is a great all around player for us. Him coming back would have ZERO negative effect.

Butler would def be useful against Lebron if they get to the finals and play the Heat...

he should be coming off the bench.

All these players that return in the post season never seem to pan out. Shaq (this year and last), and Haslem have sucked balls. I'm sure Butler won't be much different.

i wish roddy and butler was playing in the lakers series because with them in the lineup. barea and peja wont get that much playing time and even jason terry's minutes will be down. the mavs really killed the lakers with their 3 point shots and with butler and roddy in the lineup they wouldnt make that much 3s
