Not quite as high as some may think, so much of his game would've been considered offensive fouls back then.

He would make George Miken look like a role player

It would of been ridiculous, that's all you can really say.

They didn't have the first black players in the NBA until 1950, so he probably would've been carving it up against some amateurs or small-time guys somewhere.

If we was in the NBA, well, I don't know - I doubt many of us were there or have seen sufficient footage to make an intelligent speculation.

It would look like NBA 2K11 my player mode, you know when you score with your own guy the whole time... thats what his stats would look like. Plus all the tall white dudes would be scared of him

This was my first thought. I don't think he would have been allowed to even play in the NBA in 46. What I would have liked to see would have been Shaq vs Bill Russell

With the shortened lane and no shot clock it would really be up to Shaq and his coach. He could average 20 or 60 but no matter what he would shoot 70-80%

Shaq would have dominated him.

Yeah, this is huge. A team could get a small lead, go into the four corners O, and then just hack-a-Shaq with what limited possessions the other team would get.
