Not expecting much in game tonight maybe 15 minutes but game 6 or 7 I think he can increase that number a bit. Against Miami's bigs I think he will be able to score in the post.

a chokeslam on Lebron and a powerbomb on Wade. that's pretty much it.

whatever it takes to justify trading Perkins.

Lot's of hype and energy early on. Look for Shaq to come out and score 4 quick points, get fouled once and block a shot. He'll later disappear from the game. Stat line: 15 minutes, 5 points, 4 rebounds, 1 block, 1-2 free throws.

I would be shocked if he produces anything more than that

If he comes in and gives them ANYTHING, it'll be such a huge emotional lift for the Celtics and for the crowd that I think they could win the game. If he doesn't, I don't know what they can do to stop Wade and LeBron. If he's healthy he should be able to contribute, but we don't know how healthy it is so we can't judge.

They will have to foul him down low or give up easy dunks, so even his few minutes will help put Miami in the penalty, and get our good FT scorers (Ray, KG, PP) points later in the quarter.

It's also ABC primetime and Kobe just passed Shaq in playoff scoring, so I'm sure Shaq knows this.

Him to hobble off the floor 5 minutes into the first quarter

10 minutes or so

He'll draw a few fouls which will make it easier for Pierce/Rondo to drive into the lane (MIA's big will be more likely to try to avoid fouls). Other than that, I don't see him making much of a basketball impact. it could give the Celts a "we're ready now" sense, which could help intangible wise.

I guarantee you he is going to send someone to the ground when they attempt to drive it

18 minutes, 12 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block

Obviously nobody knows what to really expect. As long as he can stay on the court, I think he'll have a bigger impact than most expect. If he is on the court for 15 minutes or more, it is because he is effective. Even if he can't hardly get off the ground Miami's centers won't be able to do anything but foul him. I think the most important thing for Shaq right now is to make above 50% of his free throws.

what do i expect?

i figure 10-15 minutes and a bunch of hard fouls. quite honestly, his minutes alone would mean BBD plays less minutes which would be a blessing (b/c he has sucked for the past 4 months!!!)

Placing Lebron in a hot dog roll and eating him like Kobiyashi.

10 pts, all in the first quarter, on 5-6 shooting, and a few rebounds/fouls the rest of the game.

less than 10 minutes of action, less than 5 rebounds, less than 7 points, and probably 3 personal fouls.

intangibles mainly IMO, emotional lift and some energy the Cs have seemed to be missing a bit. maybe a hard foul here or there to let lebron and wade know he's back. can't really expect too much in terms of points and rebounds.

I say he is in for a max of 15 min. there for a big body to hammer on dwade and lebron. and to suck up some fouls himself, hopefully getting some of the heat in foul trouble.

Hard fouls. Clog up the paint to keep Wade and LBJ on the perimeter. He won't play much, but when he is in, he will affect LBJ and Wade game. Both have been attack the rim and dominating the paint.

Not much at all. Like others said about 15 mins, 4-6 points, some rebounds, etc.

It might be enough to slow down Wade and LBJ just enough to pull out a win.
