Is possibly the most valuable player in the NBA in my opinion.

One thing that cant be debated is that dominate centers win Championships.

Where does Dwight go? I think it's over in Orlando.

This might get crazier than the Melo fiasco.

teams do

Here is why dominate centers are the most valuable pieces to championship team.

1. Defense - Blocked shots, Changed Shots, and Stopping the other teams' big guys and toughness

2. Rebounding - Dominate centers give you rebounding which is possibly the most important aspect of playoff games, especially down the stretch of tight games.

3. Scoring - Centers get higher percentage shots than guards or forwards. If you want your team to score consistently would you rather have a 45% jump shooter or a 55% center taking shots?

Those are the 3 most consistent elements of championship basketball teams. Jump shooting comes and goes but defense, rebounding, and high percentage shots carry teams to rings. Thats why the Lakers and Celtics are the 2 best teams right now.

I know its early but the mods should make an official "DWIGHT HOWARD SPECULATION" thread already. It will save a lot of headaches.

Dominate center = underrated

How is a dominant center underrated?

It's a great thing to have, but also proven that it's a luxury more than a necessity. When it comes to the final few minutes of a close game, I'll take a great G or F over any C (especially when they struggle with FT's)

I won't comment on what I actually think about your views and this whole thread in general, but it's the second time you've used this word incorrectly. Allow me to save you from future mistakes.

It's dominant.
