ESPN's Tim MacMahon tweets a quote from the head coach of the Mavs:

Rick Carlisle has message for Mavs fans: "We need our fans to be like these fans were out here."

in response...Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com writes that the Mavericks want Carlisle to be more like a good coach. LOL

Some Mavs, such as Tyson Chandler and Terry, didn’t hesitate to give Carlisle a healthy share of the blame for the horrific collapse. Those players brought up the lack of adjustments when asked how the Dallas defense could go from dominant through three quarters to dreadful. Shawn Marion, who complained about being treated like a "rag doll" during last year's playoffs, was also miffed he spent most of the fourth quarter on the bench instead of getting a chance to guard Roy before the three-time All-Star had heated into a ridiculous zone.

They were pointing out the obvious. They were also pointing the finger at Carlisle, although nobody called him out by name.

"We didn't make any adjustments, period," Chandler said. "We didn't make any adjustments guarding him on the floor and we didn't make any adjustments any time. It was obvious."

This ought to add to the drama of returning home 2-2 in the series.

He has a point, that crowd was great even when they were down by a lot. The team feeds off the fan's energy moreso than any other team in the NBA

Portland fans show up even if the team fails. So he's spot on.

Carlisle is a hell of a coach - lol at the Mavs players blaming him - man up pussys

Carlisle is not a hell of a coach. His rotations are horrible and his inability to game plan as the game progresses is god awful. I have never liked him, didn't want him in the first place. Please fire his *** and give me Rick Adelman or Jeff Van Gundy.

Sounds from the article that no adjustments were made to b Roy driving the lane ect...

That has to fall on both sides...have to call a timeout and talk it over and adjust as a coach but as players, you got to adjust as the game unfolds on the court. At least know that you may have to help or crash the box more ect...

I think this is just a lot of finger pointing...

So he's practically calling out there fan base? Just not as direct.
