View Full Version : Has Granger Convinced Any Fans He's A Legit Go-to Guy?

The Pacers have undoubtedly been disapointed at the end result of the first three games of the playoffs, but they cant be disapointed in the effort their team has put out. They have had the lead over the Bulls in the fourth quarter of each game and Collison and Hansborough have showed some skill, but I personally (a non-Pacers fan), have been impressed with Granger's offensive out-put. He rained threes on Chi-town in game one, and has been hitting pull up jumpers and big shots, while increasing his assists and causing less turnovers than his regular season. His rebounds are down a bit, but it seems that after shooting .500 over the the first two games, Granger has shown he IS a legit go to guy and can hit big shots, something critics have been saying Indy doesnt have.

Granger has impressed me, even if his personal scoring average is down from last year, but I think that illustrates that he can play into the talent around hims, and score when he is required to.

Thoughts on Granger?

Uhhh I never thought Granger wasn't a go to guy. I always considered him a good threat as well as a good player.

And llemon I am a Bulls fan so your wrong.

A 2nd/3rd tier go to guy, sure. But Granger severely lacks a killer instinct.

As of right now? No.. Not a 1st option.. I don't see it. Sure the Pacers don't have the depth, but even if they did, I don't see that team winning it all with Granger as the focal point. He'd be a great #2 option and would excel at it in my opinion.

I don't see him as a closer. Lacks that I can shoot over you mentality.

i guess he would be a good 2nd-3rd option on a really good team tho

I'd take him on the Nuggets in a heartbeat.

Granger has also gotten excited and thrown up poor shots in the final few minutes of every single game.

hes a good 2 option you can give it to if your number 1 option has no shot at getting a shot off

Danny Granger = Andrea Iguodala

Their the same type of player, good 2nd options but your not building a team around them.
