View Full Version : Which Player(s) Play With The Most Passion/Heart/Emotion

Tha Truth
04-20-2011, 04:35 AM
One of favourite things to see as a basketball fan is watching players play with heart, passion and emotion. It makes the game that much more enjoyable.

I would have to go with Kevin Garnett. Just the intensity he brings when he is on the court is admirable. I love watching someone who is that passionate about the game play and I hope to see more players with that same passion in the future. It's impossible not to play with passion, heart or emotion with him on your team or even as his opponent.

Who do you guys think?

KG definitely does. Joakim Noah too. Did you see him at the end of game 1?

Yea Noah too. I love the passion that guy plays with even before his NBA days. When he was at Florida he played with the same emotion. The man flat out plays with heart , you gotta love it.

Yea I saw him at the end of Game 1. The dude had me amped too lol.

Other than the ones mentioned in this thread, Ronny Turiaf, Blake Griffin, Kris Humphris, to name a few.

As a Celtics fan, Garnett is definitely the easiest answer.

KG looks like a psycho sometimes, but that just shows you his emotion and love for the game. KG is pretty intense.

Noah and Garnett are the most instantly thought of.

Kobe Bryant and Chris Andersen also come to mind.

Carmelo Anthony, he may not show alot of Emotion but he has Passion and Heart. He should be in the hall of fame just in last nights performance. He put HIS team and never gave up in a playoff game without Stat and Billups. 42 pts 17 boards and 6 assists.

Jameer Nelson, last night dude got serious, KG, Dwight, Kobe, Lebron(even though I can't tell if it's real), Wade(even though he takes breaks on D), CP3, etc. Usually superstars, that's why they are who they are.

Seriously man? Melo has some nasty God given talents but dude has no heart. Down by 1 at the end of game and he basically lets delonte west run out the clock to lazy to even guard and run after him plus he even said this wasn't there year before the playoffs. Who says that before it even starts.

Like I said great talents but a total loser. I would never want that lazy dumbass in chicago

CJ Watson had 42 points in a game once. He needs to be a first ballod HOF.

Seriously man? Dirk does what Carmelo did in every playoff game with absoutely no help, and he's played in over 100 of them. Carmelo and Hall of Fame. Nope. Well maybe.

I can't believe Kobe isn't mentioned more. KG for sure. Kobe is the one Laker who always cares whether or not they lose. Sometimes it seems as those around him just don't care, but he always comes out intense and fired up. Derrick Rose is another. He has the passion, he is never willing to give up. he always believes he can will his team to victory. Go Gerald Wallace also, talk about intensity.

Currently Noah, I would vote KG but he's when he gets into it he's more of a dick than someone just being emotionally involved in a game. Of all time Rodman he gave his body on every play love him or hate him theres no question he gave 100% of himself on the court.

Oh, and Will Perdue!

That would be true before yesterday... He proved he does have heart. They were down 1 and he couldn't/didn't wanna foul so that he could stay in the game. The Knicks we're down Chauncey, Amare and you want them to win the game without Melo also? And Melo was being realistic when he said they aren't going to win the title this year... What do you want him to say? "Yeah we're gonna win, the title this year" Cockiness and arragonce, ignorance, is different from reality and confidence. But that lazy dumbass... also has a ring even if it is @ the college level. & has also done more this post season then you're star player has. Sooo I'd rather have this lazy dumbass. Other then that you sound like a straight up hater. Give respect where it's due bruh.

Baron Davis. I know I don't have proof of this but this is PSD. So, close thread. Kg and Kb24 don't have anything on my boy Crocodile Grin.

He also threw a slow-motion alley-oop to Griffin in that Kia commercial while he stood up through the sunroof. Do you know how much passion you have to have to be seen in a Kia as a professional athlete in front of millions of people?
