Its no secret that the Spurs have been a little cold lately. The best record in the league was all but locked up until Chi-town caught fire and SA caught the chill (aka the injury bug). But the Spurs are champions, and they have new blood (Gary Neal is the three pointer they needed the last couple of seasons, and Bonner, George Hill, Ginobili, Richardson and Parker are not too shabby form behidn the arc either). So with their classic three-point game back (man they missed Bowen) and a decent Center/PF rotation (Duncan, Blair, McDysse, Splitter Bonner seem to be doing pretty well this season).

Memphis has some great players: Randolph, Ray, Gasol, and guys like Battier are going to help. The Spurs have never been the type of team to sweep opponents out (well, unless they are playing LBJ), but the bottom line is Memphis only has two dependable rebounders (Zach-attack and Gasol) and dont have the defenders to spread out and cover the Spurs threepoint attack.

Spurs in 5.

thoughts?

Spurs in 7.

Memphis will not make this an easy series. They've won close games and have great depth and have had recent success against the Spurs. I think the Spurs experience comes through and leads them to a win in game 7.

if Gay was there i think this series would go deep, but he's not so i dont. I think SAS' experience will be too much for the young Grizzlies. SAS in 5.

I just heard that Ginobli tweaked his elbow in last nights finale. If he misses games, I'd change my vote from Spurs in five, to Spurs in six.

I would like to say Grizz win the series, but i never bet against the spurs...

Grizz in 6. I doubt it, but I'd like to see it so I'll say it. The Grizz should be a good playoff-basketball team

Spurs in 7 but I'd like to think Grizz in 7. If we force game 7, the Spurs at home would be hard to take.

I'm going to go against the grain here and say Grizz in Six, just based on the fact that they matchup well with the Spurs, IF Gasol and Randolph can control the paint which I believe they can against Duncan, this is going to be a long series for San Antonio..Don't under-estimate Tony Allen playing against a banged up Manu either..its been said that this team has been better since Gay went down..

The Grizzlies are a handful. I would put my money on the Spurs but it isn't impossible for the Grizz to win.
