Does anyone know exactly where the no headband rule derive from, and also what are the teams that follow the rule (besides Chicago).

Don't know where it came from, but the Heat used to enforce it up until they allowed Jermaine O'neal wear it a few years ago. Don't know why anyone would give a crap about it, honestly.

Because he would wear it upside down and they banned that.

That is the stupidest rule ever.

I think he also might have said he didn't want to wear a Lakers player on his head.

But NBA spokesman Tim Frank said a league rule prohibits players from wearing the headbands inside-out or upside-down.

It might have to do with them feeling they are defacing the NBA logo or some crap like that. I remember when I went to lids(hat store) and tried to get something stitched in the front they didn't want to because MLB didn't allow it because they were defacing MLB logos.

Doesn't Skiles enforce the rule wherever he coaches?

No Bucks players are allowed to wear headbands. The only exception I can remember was Charlie Villanueva a few seasons back when he was a Buck but that was because of his medical condition. Because he has no hair on his body, he has no eyebrows to stop the sweat from going in his eyes.

The Magic, Jazz and I think the Raptors. So there's 3 or maybe 4(including the Raptors) that don't allow their players to wear headbands.

The Raptors probaly lifted the headband rule like the heat did because I was certainly not sure they still had it around. But I am sure the Jazz, Bulls and Magic don't allow their players to wear one.

Jerry Sloan didn't allow them in Utah, it remians to be seen if they're still banned there or not.

ive been noticing during the knicks games recently that Melo and Bill Walkers headbands have been green. I thought when you wore one they at least had to be part of the team color or uniform for that night but i guess not

I don't get why coaches/teams would prohibit the wearing of headbands.

These clowns think they're cool wearing a sweat band. Even scrubs who knew they weren't taking off their warmups wear them. I know Sharpton and Jackson would be having a field day if Chamberlain or Russell was on the Logo and someone wore it upside down.
