How would your team do if their best player retired today, regardless of age?
For the Rockets, our best player is probably Kevin Martin. I think we would still be in the high 30's low 40's in wins because our team is so hard working.

Kobe for the Lakers... and I can say that we would probably lose in the first round and likely be a 6-8 seed. People say the Lakers have depth and what not, but if you take Kobe off the Lakers, they would have the worst perimeter team in the NBA by far... Fisher, Brown, Blake.

Without pau the Lakers would win about 50 games.

I'm a Laker fan, and I think Kobe is by far the best player on the Lakers, people are entitled to their opinion though.

uh oh.....he's playing better than Kobe right now, I really hope Kobe turns it up in the playoffs though.

So just because he's playing better right now, means he's a better player? I disagree, but your entitled to your opinion. But I gotta admit I'm pretty sure your the only Laker fan I know (maybe outside of Crooner) who thinks Pau is better than Kobe. Heck I'd say outside of the haters, most non-laker fans would disagree with you.

As a Sixers fan I guess that would be Iggy....I think we could actually recover from that without taking a huge step back. If Evan Turner got minutes he may not a huge step back, he'll give you comparable defense and more rebounds, steals, and blocks. Also Young would get more minutes and add more offense and grit to the Sixers.

If Rose retired that would be nuts with a cane. The bulls would still make the playoffs cause they'd still be better than the Buck or Pacers.

You would miss Iggys D and Passing more then you think!

If carmelo retired amare would still be in the mvp debate and we'd probable be where we are now 6-7 seed

I'm a fan of the raptors, so I'm not sure how this can apply to my team. you take any player away from our roster and we're still a lottery team. In fact, you take away a player or two and we might be better.

2 things Evan Turner does very very well right now are rebound and play D he's not at Iggy's level but he is well above average in D and he's not a bad passer but I wouldn't be looking at him for that anyway.

I think the bulls would win easily 55 games. I mean Scalabrine doesn't play much but we would still be a top 2 team on the east.
