As of right now this is the only guaranteed series with Orlando having HCA. Who do you see winning this series?

I say Hawks in 7 because outside of Dwight the magic doesnt have players that scare you. Hinrick is a better defender then bibby so that helps keep nelson in check. Then you have Joe Johnson, J-smove, Horford and Jamal Crawford.

honestly if the hawks dont get blown out in a game and the magic aren't shooting lights out from 3 I'll take them in 6 or 7 cause the sec the hawks gets blown the series is over.

11/08 ATL 89 @ ORL 93
12/06 ATL 80 @ ORL 74
12/20 ORL 81 @ ATL 91
03/30 ORL 82 @ ATL 85

ATL is up 3-1 on the season series, and I think I heard in the last matchup that DH12 shoots his lowest % against ATL.

If ORL shooting is hot: ORL in 6
If ATL can contain the shooters: ATL in 6

I think we still are the better team. We've shown that when we commit to it we're still a top 3-5 defensive team. Gonna need Jameer to step up like last year, and more importantly, the bench to get healthy and get it together. It's gone from strength to liability recently. We need JJ. I think some of this poor defense and sloppiness on offense, mainly the TOs, is a result of complacency, which will vanish in the playoffs.

We definitely will not be repeating last year's sweep.

This is going to be a good series and in my opinion come down to 6 or 7 games. The key to the series is obviously D12, If he can play well it will open up ORL shooters. On the other side ATL really needs a good series from Hinrich, if he can contain Nelson. Orlando is going to be in trouble.

As of now I'll take Orlando in 7

lol this will not be a good series. The Magic will win it in 4 or 5. Can anyone remember last year? only took 4. I think were a better team now (well, Dwight is definitley better) than we were last year. Shoot, they might just call the series after 3 ;)

Howard just has to control his frustration and not get technicals.

Orlando in 4, hawks never win in the playoffs.

Orlando in 4, hawks never win in the playoffs.

You might want to either check your facts or reword what you wrote because the Hawks have made it to the second round two years in a row and took the Celtics to a 7-game series in 2008. So, actually, the Hawks do win in the playoffs. However, even as a Hawks fan, the past two seasons in the second round have been miserable.

I'll be honest and say Orlando in 6. But it won't be the same story as last year's series. Atlanta will at least win a game or two.

Orlando at 5.
Hawks have been incredible against the Magic this year but magic have owned them on playoffs.
If Jameer plays aggressive and doesnt just do circles around the perimeter, id say Magic at 4. just my opinion, no offense to hawks fans

No offense taken. This is a WIN-WIN for Hawks fans. If we win, we win. If we lose (and I mean lose bad), we can FINALLY expect changes.

Good way to look at it. That's kind of how I look at the Hawks: a team with a really nice core, but really is going to have to make some big moves to get to the next level. They can stay at this 4-5 seed level for a long time if they want, but they aren't magically going to get better without a big move.

It is really a win-win (hopefully for you guys). Hopefully your management doesn't get complacent with a loss.

Tough matchup. Hca is big in this series. Orlando in 7

Orlando in 5. I really think Orlando can be the "Cinderella" this year when no one is really taking them seriously as contenders. But they will have to watch out for stepsister-Stern.

I believe it was "reported" that our off-season depends on what we do in the playoffs (I take it, if we lay an egg, we are blowing the team up. If we win, we have another year of Joe, Josh and company, while we prob try to upgrade role players.). Whatever happens, Horford should be safe.

I say whatever happens in the playoffs, we need to change the team. No way we re-sign Jamal, so there goes our most important bench player, and then we downgrade even from this year. We either have to trade a Josh Smith/Horford for a star to pair with Joe (going for it all type deal) or we HOPE that a team "going for it all" would like Joe, and rebuild around Horford.

Orlando in 5 or 6. Atlanta is way too small to contain Dwight.

Orlando in 5 I only gave Atlanta 1 game because a sweep is completely unrealistic the Hawks are no match for the Magic.
