he was in an era before the modern sub positional breakdown became popularized.so just forward, but you could get away sticking him at either...but at 6'5 and style of play he would be a sf by todays standards

he played more years but wasnt better.love is underrated and gets lost in history.but i'd still take rodamn over love for bulls(even if it isnt a huge gap).the only thing love brings over love is scoring and its not enough to make up the gap in defense and rebounding(its also not needed on a team with 3-4 elite scorers)

Not really a kings team... as some of those players were actually Royals. So Anaheim can claim them to their history...

As for the kings... I think:
Reggie Theus
Mitch Richmond
Peja Stojakovic
Chris Webber
Vlade Divac

Tough question, though, as players like Gerald Wallace may have a better career than Peja, but Peja had his best years with the kings.

I think honorable mention must also include: Mike Bibby, Doug Christie, Brad Miller and Bobby Jackson as they were part of the kings teams they will always be the Kings glory days team well after Sacramento has lost basketball...

There should be some guidelines for this list like the player you list has to be able to play the position you put him at (kareem and Glen Rice cannot play PF) and you have to be able to make the argument that the player you listed played his best years for your team.

you really wouldnt put Rodman at the PF?!?

He only played 3 years with us and never made the allstar team.

Personally here is my lineup for the Bulls

PG Norm Van Lier
SG Michael Jordan
SF Scottie Pippen
PF Dennis Rodman
C Artis Gilmore

Lineup 2
PG Derrick Rose
SG Jerry Sloan
SF Luol Deng
PF Carlos Boozer
C Joakim Noah

No need to start Rose with MJ and Pippen because you already have two ball handlers. You want to maximaze your team and bringing Rose in when either MJ or Scottie goes to the bench is the best way for that.

Lineup 1 is all about defense as well.

i honestly can't believe it but i forgot about skiles....armstrong in his prime i guess could replace nelson. i didn't know webber was a part of the magic? interesting

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993_NBA_Draft

He was traded for Penny and 3 1st rounders, I think?

Granted he never played, but if you are talking about the Magic's all time roster including Wilkins, Ewing, Kemp(not sure if you put him), Ben Wallace, etc, then why not include Webber.

Haha well just take a third of the NBA players in the basketball HOF, stick their names in a lottery ball roller and you'd have a nearly unstoppable lineup.

Player Role Enshrined
Ed Macauley Player 1960
John "Honey" Russell Player 1964
Alvin "Doggie" Julian Coach 1967
Arnold "Red" Auerbach Coach 1968
Bob Cousy Player 1970

Not really a kings team... as some of those players were actually Royals. So Anaheim can claim them to their history...

As for the kings... I think:
Reggie Theus
Mitch Richmond
Peja Stojakovic
Chris Webber
Vlade Divac

I think honorable mention must also include: Mike Bibby, Doug Christie, Brad Miller and Bobby Jackson as they were part of the kings teams they will always be the Kings glory days team well after Sacramento has lost basketball...

I agree. Good list:clap:

I'm not going to include Lebron and Bosh yet since they haven't even played a full season. In the future I'm pretty sure I would include them at SF and PF, but for now here is my all time Heat lineup:

C - Mourning
PF - Haslem/P.J. Brown
SF - Rice/Mashburn
SG - Wade
PG - Hardaway

There's the mainstream, and then there's the technically speaking... I'll do technically speaking for the sake of fun!

PG - Magic Johnson with Gary Payton & Nick Van Exel off the bench
SG - Kobe Bryant with Jerry West & Gail Goodrich off the bench
SF - Elgin Baylor with James Worthy off the bench
PF - Wilt Chamberlain with Karl Malone and Dennis Rodman off the bench
C - Kareem Abdul Jabaar with Shaq O'Neal off the bench

I think the bench is just as good! lol.

Magic
Kobe

Kareem

Not a politically or historically correct lineup but would be the sickest ever in their prime.

off the bench Im coming with

Van Exel
B Scott
Odom
Worthy
Shaq

Crazy part is I would really like to see the starters play the bench.

Boston's and the LA Lakers' all time benches would beat about 3/4ths of other teams' all time starters.

Celtics:

C - Bill Russell
PF - Kevin Garnett
SF - Larry Bird
SG - Paul Pierce
PG - Bob Cousy

Bench - Ray Allen
Bench - John Havlicek
Bench - Dave Cowens
Bench - Robert Parish
Bench - Rajon Rondo

Coach - Red Auerbach
