Well, a lot of teams are already playing different guys, seeing what they have. Not sure if that's "tanking" or not. I think that's smart. I don't see why not. If you have nothing to play for, why not play for the future :shrug: Play the rookies. Play the young guys who might have a future on the team. Rest some of the guys who have logged a lot of minutes.

I mean, a lot of the teams at the top might start doing the same, at least the resting part.

no. tanking is ridiculous and over-rated given the always unusual results in the lottery.

Umm... with like 6 games left? Not much difference to make now. Plus, no real reward in this draft (no surefire "star").

Not to mention if you believe in lottery-rigging, tanking would not be a good thing. "In the 2011 draft lottery, the 1st pick goes to th Houston Rockets!" lol

Nope. The team with the worst record usually doesn't get the 1st pick anyway.
