self explanatory title...
I think duncan would be more likely than garnett to join the heat but i would be thrilled if either would join the heat

I really don't see either as being sellouts. Both already have rings so they don't have that desperation. I don't see anyway Duncan is not on the Spurs.

Hope this one would be thrilling enough for the meantime...

u never know how it will play out...these guys are junkies for championships and if they think going to the heat is their best chance then they might bring their talents to south beach

No but I can see Shaq

Nope. SA is focused on getting Duncan to retire a Spur and KG hates the Big Three.

They have already won championships, especially Duncan. There is no way either one joins the Heat.

When I clicked on this forum and while it was loading, I was hoping it wasn't a heat fan that started this thread! Sure enough.... It was :( As for the OP question, there is no way that they will join the heat nor I want KG on this team!! I hate KG and Paula pierce!! Duncan is okay on my book :)

KG might end up a Laker. He lives in Malibu and spends alot of time there. I could see him in LA after his contract if he wants to chase another ring.

No they want cause they're grown *** men with self respect and they're already champions.

At this point in his career I don't think he'd have a problem being someone else's "sidekick." However he would only do it on the Spurs. He's not leaving, he'll retire a full time Spur. And I think Garnett would consider leaving the Celts (Since he's only been there a few years), not sure for who, but I definitely don't think it would be for the Heat.

yup

nope...but expect tyson chandler to sign w/ us this offseason

for duncan miami is the closest team to his hometown in the virgin islands so it can be a realistic option if he leaves san antonio and garnett has the fakest persona in the nba, he would sellout for a ring

It would be realistic for Duncan to leave San Antonio because Miami is closer to his hometown which is in another country? He's been with SA from the beginning, there is no way your crazy idea will ever happen and i'd gladly sig bet with you anytime with any conditions.

KG already said that when his contract ends, he's planning on retiring. And most likely if he doesn't want to retire, he'll take a cheap contract to stick around in Boston.

DubbyDubbs
04-03-2011, 12:54 PM
none of the above will ever be on the heat... let alone ever be on a different nba team for the remainder of their careers in my opinion... especially duncan

w/e at ur opinions, i was just looking at older players who have championship experience whose contracts end soon and i wanted to present the questions, and apparently u all r strong against it, i'd prefer a guy like nene anyways...

Duncan will retire a Spur. End of story.

KG will retire a Celtic... unless Danny Ainge trades him first.

KG has found a home in Boston. That system is perfect for him, no way he leaves for the enemy.

Duncan will never leave Pop.......

Okay great but difference is, players liek Duncan and KG probably have a better chance of winning it all with their current teams then with the Heat.

Zero chance of either signing with Miami.

The new CBA is likely to eliminate the MLE. And Miami is over the cap so anyone they sign would likely have to be for the league minimum. There's no chance Duncan plays for a team other than San Antonio. And I don't see why KG would leave Boston. Their key guys are all signed on through next season.

I think Kobe will go to the Heat as well when his contract runs out with the Lakers to chase a few more championships. Can you imagine. They'd be unbeatable with 'Bron, Wade, Bosh, Duncan, KG, AND Kobe. Just wow. Just oh wow!!!

EDIT: Forgot to add support. Kobe will go to the Heat because it's closer to his hometown of Philly than LA is.

This is really just pure speculation with no source to anything. Probably best suited for the Heat forum if anything. If you find a link with a rumor, maybe it's thread-worthy.

But as is, this isn't really worth a thread.
