In a recent poll of 152 NBA players conducted by Sports Illustrated, the Cavaliers' Anderson Varajao was selected as the biggest flopper in the league.

The top five was filled out by Manu Ginobilli, Luis Scola, Derek Fisher and Kevin Martin.

No baiting please. Just your thoughts on how you feel. Did they get it right?

Kobe ranked before Pierce? No way. Pierce should be top 5.

And why is Kobe on the list? He likes to complaint, not flopping.

by extension i would assume flopping would be trying to draw fouls in general. Kobe is one of those players that draws and sells a lot of 50/50 fouls. in that case i can see why players would opt to label him a flopper.

BS. It should be Derek Fisher by a mile. And not just right now, but he's the biggest and most skilled flopper in the history of the sport.

Really weird, I read Anderson Varajao as "Sasha Vujacic" in my mind and thought "hm kind of a weird choice, but makes sense", then he shows up as the last on the last.

Anyway - love player voting lists when it comes to things like this. Kobe's a weird choice to me though. ZERO chance he'd show up in the top 20 if PSD did a similar vote on this. Shows what we know... and if it's drawing 50/50 fouls that they're going after, wouldn't a true foul-drawing genius like KD finish ahead of him?

Why are there so many white dudes on the list? lol

Most of these guys are players i respect though; v-man, Kobe, Pierce, Battier, ginobili, reggie evans, among others.

interesting list though, i'd be curious to read all the players comments on these guys.

I've never really thought of him as a flopper but, Baron Davis has the all-time greatest flop:

probably because they tend to be less muscular and strong so when they get charged on by a more muscular player the "flop" will be more spectacular since they will fall further away.

On the contrary, Kobe get less calls compare to other super stars in the league.

And for selling foul, no one can compare to PP's skillful head bobbing. If there is body contact, his head will automatically bob like someone had shot him.

every player has flopped in the NBA. All I'm saying is that some biased fans tend to think Pierce is the biggest flopper in the NBA when the more knowledgeable PLAYERS who actually play with the guys don't believe this. Think of it that way

Kevin martin really sold that foul against the spurs last night. I don't understand how the refs don't see the flopping yet the players do. Interesting

Kevin Martin wins offensive flopper easy though. Even better than Manu at it. I still like him though, but it could get annoying to watch.
