Who is the guy on your team who seems like his ultimate goal in the game is to chuck up as many shots as possible no matter if his shot is falling or not?

On my team it's Kevin Durant - Love KD but his chucking is getting very bad lately.

KD a "chucker" lately? Just looked it up, he's averaging 45% over the last month (a bit low for him, but not bad), while shooting 44% from three and 92% from the line (1.7 turnovers to 3 assists in this time, too). Incredibly efficient play.

I watch every game, you obviously don't watch many games if you cannot see the pure volume of terrible shot after terrible shot that he loves to take night in and night out. Lately he has been terrible, not referring to the whole month of march. But I still love KD though and know that he will get out of his slump

OK, yes, Durant's efficiency and shot selection has been spotty over the last 5 games. He is clearly your "chucker"...

I watch a ton of OKC games - probably more than my own W's - you don't understand the definition of a "chucker" if that's what you consider KD.

Very true statements.. But his EFG% is carried mostly by his uncanny ability to get to the line and make a very impressive amount of his free throws. He throws up some very poor mid range shots trying to get fouled unsuccessfully or trying to heat up as many streaky shooters do. Don't get me wrong, I love K-Mart.. but he has to be the closest thing to a chucker that the Rockets have.

Why's that? He's not the best passer, but his entire career he has been a team player, he was one of the best on the team as far as setting up screens. He also broke the record for 3PT% his last year in utah...when I think of a chucker I think of somebody who shoots the ball a lot, has bad shot selection, and low FG%. Korver definitely doesn't and hasn't fit that mold in any point in his career. Again, he doesn't do much, but what he does do he does quite well and with efficiency.

KD a "chucker" lately? Just looked it up, he's averaging 45% over the last month (a bit low for him, but not bad), while shooting 44% from three and 92% from the line (1.7 turnovers to 3 assists in this time, too). Incredibly efficient play.

Do you watch your team play often?

That's the most impressive stat for KD, to me atleast...

we have TWO of them.

The star chuker and the Wannabe Star chuker.
Both play same position.
One is effective ( tough loses us some games ande even finals because of chuking)
the other is simply terrible and neeeds to GTFO after this season.

Lakers.
