Thought it would be fun to see who you guys think the current Point Guards in the league resemble in terms of PG's from the past. So take any PG (Rose, Paul, Nash, Williams, Rondo, Westbrook, etc.) and tell which PG of the past (Isiah Thomas, Kevin Johnson, Gary Payton, etc.) they resemble in current style of play and potential they could reach one day.

PG era.... with times a certain position is more common then others

right now there are so many good young PGs that will be the future

Rose - Issiah
Rondo - Kidd/Payton (Kidd is the best comparison, but if you don't count him as a past player because he's active I'd go GP as next best)
CP3 - Stockton

Deron reminds of kevin johnson, Rose is almost like Stephon Maubry, Chris Paul is Chris Paul, Rondo is Rondo Steve Nash is Steve Nash,Westbrook is Westbrook

John Wall - Derrick Rose/Kidd

Has the size and near athleticism of Rose, but the vision of Kidd. Shoots kind of like them too. Will be an all time great.
