Why wouldn't you put Toronto up on that poll since they're the 5th worst? Anyway, I think either Minne or Sacramento wins it, and I think Toronto slides into 3rd.

I would want the Toronto Raptors personally to win the draft lottery but i think the Cavs truly need and deserve the first pick.

I of course wish the Wizards do, but I also want to see the Cavs get something for their troubles. So I think the Cavs get the number one pick and leave either Barnes or Sullinger for the Wizards.

They tried to do the whole "home town hero" thing with LeBron which ended with an utter disaster.

In fact, they are doing the same thing with your team but so far its not a disaster.

That would never happen on the wizards part. they wouldnt trade john wall for anyone!!! Now the kings would deff trade cousins because of all trhe problems he's caused this year. i agree wall on the kings would be better but it would never happen

Cavs need it the most of all these teams. Irving or Sullinger would be great new pieces for them.

Arch Stanton
03-24-2011, 10:15 PM
The Cavs also have the Clippers first round pick. Supposedly they have a 35% chance of getting the first pick. Which means there's a 65% chance they don't. Even with two first rounders. The odds are against them. They're also looking to grab another maybe during draft day. Perhaps using the LeBron trade exception or using Jamison's contract.

The Wolves, who have NEVER gotten the #1 pick, and NEVER moved up in the draft, will get the #1 pick in the weakest draft since 2001. Especially when the top 2 prospects are a PG, and Sullinger, a Love clone.

Awesome.

In all seriousness, if they do get the #1 pick, I would take Irving, and move the rights for Rubio. Unless you get more value for Irving, in which case you move him.

LMFAO to those who say Cleveland has "earned it", or "deserves it". How many teams get fked over yearly in the draft lottery, position wise?

Sorry Cleveland, you made your own bed with countless poor decisions after you drafted the best player the NBA has seen in years. Deal with it.

Relax, this draft isn't bad at all. It just doesn't have the yearly superstar. but who are we to say Derrick Williams, Jared Sullinger, Kyrie irving, or Harrison Barnes can't do so. This draft extends all the way in the early second round with talent.

Because they already have the young talent they need. Why would they continue to get young players? I dont think they traded for the right person because Mo isnt even that good a player.

I think the reason why people say this current draft is weak is because there is no stand out bonafide superstar. But it doesn't necessarily mean the draft stinks. Even if your team gets the first pick doesn't mean that your team will make the right choice. So I wouldn't worry about it too much. It seems to be more about luck at this point.

I really try not to buy into the whole lottery conspiracy thing. But since its conducted behind closed doors, and my team gets perpetually screwed by the draft, I find it hard to believe there isn't funny business going on.

That year, it just so happened the local Ohio kid was the most hyped youth in modern history, and Cleveland won 16 games. Seems a bit too easy that they just got the #1 pick, when many times the team with the worst record gets passed

Seriously... It is impossible to provide an educated guess except to guess the Cavs due to better odds.

It is like saying that me and 4 friends all did a raffle. I bought 5 tickets, another friend bought 4 tickets, another bought 3, another 2 and the last friend only bought 1. Which one of us is going to win?

It's the Royals.

Stern is moving the kings to the los angeles area... and we all know how stern loves big market$.

He will give the Royals the first pick to help ensure that the team packs the new arena. That way, he will also ensure that his decision to allow the team to move will be warranted.
