Simple enough, if you construct a starting 5 from active undrafted players, how would they do in the regular season and if they make the playoffs how far would they go?

top of my head... ben wallace, reggie evans, chuck hayes, udonis haslem... cant think of any guards, team should be really good on the boards though regardless of that.

pg raja bell
sg john starks
sf Bruce bown
pf Udonis Haslem
c Ben Wallace

If they are all in their prime they would easily be the best defensive team in the league. Offensivly i see very little options scoring wise outside starks, haslem, and bell.

starks is been retired for ages bowen is retired too.

The best undrafted pg right now playing is Calderon.

Brad Miller
Udonis Haslem
Jamario Moon
John Starks
Jose Colderon
Reggie Evans
Bruce Bowen
Earl Boykins
Raja Bell
Jannero Pargo
Darrell Armstrong
David Wesley

PG Wesley
SG Starks

This starting 5 in their prime in todays NBA would be contenders.

i see that team fighting for a 8th seed in the east... but even that's a stretch...

Andres Nocioni, Avery Johnson, Bo Outlaw or Kelenna Azubuike could also be on the team.

PF-R.Evans, U.Haslem, A.Nocioni
SF-W.Matthews, M.Daniels, K.Azubuike
SG-R.Bell, R.Williams, M.Carroll
PG-J.Calderon, E.Boykins, C.Arroyo

That was the best active player roster I could make.

The top 4 big men have great defense but no scoring. The wings and back court don't really have defenders other than Bell, Daniels and Azubuike.

Calderon and Matthews would be leading this team on the offense. Boykins can go off too.

Probably wouldn't be good enough for playoffs though.

Pretty sure Moses Malone went 5th overall to Portland.

lol this team would be the worst team in the nba hands down , win 5, 6 games maybe...in the nfl u can put together a great squad out of undrafted players but this proves the nba drafts much better than the nfl

Wouldn't be a great team, wouldn't make the playoffs, sorry.

I'd be more interested in seeing the best 2nd round team put together. They could probably do some things... Arenas, Monta, Fields, Blair, etc.

Rocket's captain CHUCK HAYES

how are so many of you leaving him off your teams? I would take him over any undrafted player in the NBA

add morrow and maybe cj watson in place of a couple people

you underestimate that team, primes they def would and think still would get 8th in the east if they were as they are today
