Ok heres a list of players I would have loved to have seen have a legit shot at the NBA that did not make it for various reasons. Either their playing Euro ball now, they got injured too much, or are sleeping on a park bench these days. List the guys who were the best players who didn't make it when they should have.

Here's what I came up with off the top of my head. No order.

1. Demetrius "Hook" Mitchell [Playground | High School | Prison | Adult AAU]

2. Ronnie Fields [High school | Euro]

3. Ismail Muhammed (GT) [College | Euro]

4. Toby Bailey (UCLA) [College | Pro | Euro]

5. Dee Brown (Illinois) [College | Pro | NBDL]

6. Kenny George (UNC-ASH) [College]

7. Melvin Levitt (CINN) [College]

8. Julius Page (PITT) [College]

9. Guillermo Diaz (MIA) [College | Pro | NBDL | EURO]

10. Sam Clancy (USC) [College | Pro | EURO]

11. Joseph Forte (UNC) [College | Pro | NBDL | Euro]

There's quite a TON more, but lets see what you guys come up with.

Dee Brown was a good guy I went to an autograph party for season-ticket holders when he was on the Jazz. the event was from 4-6:30, @ exactly 6:30 Deron Williams got up & left. even though he had a looong line. Dee Brown was the only player still signing autographs until his entire line was finished. and he was actually sayin to the fans while he was signing autographs for them "Thanks for waiting on me"

Being from Brooklyn myself it pains me to say this but it pains me to see that Sebastian Telfair wasn't able to translate his game to the NBA level. People critize the talent he played against but the fact is he tore up the PSAL. Dee Brown is another good look i thought he was actually Deron Williams on those Illinois teams.

Dee brown hands down. One man fast break for real. That shot of him holding the Illinois Jersey out on sports illustrated cover lives on. Amazing. I saw Ronnie fields play at proviso west summer league when I was a freshman riding pine for short handed varsity squad. Dude was unreal. Farragut scored 129 points in two twenty minute half's against us. Michael Wright was on that team as well. Area cats that were nice also were Brandon Watkins who led a team to state championship for St Joe's and imari Sawyer was a sick PG who never made it.

and williams and may are still in the NBA
BTW kevin Garnett was on that same farragut team, dude that rode the pine forgot to mention him and their beatdown they took. we lost to them to but KG quadruple-doubled us for 31PTS,??Reb,??AST,??BLK, and Fields got us for 26 more. we lost 61-59. and i thought we had a squad. We had 1 guy get drafted with the last pick of the draft, in like 1998 or 99 PETE MICKAEL. ripped it up overseas after he got over hiss health issues which kept him outta the league

Yeah Trajan langdon was sweet!

Same train of thought, I thought Shawn Respert was gonna blow up.

I watched Trajan Langdon in the Euroleague a couple months back, and he chucked up a couple airballs.

Ouch!

Yea i was going to put him on my list, just for the simple fact that he did get a ton of press when he was coming out, but the dude was whack from day one of his pro career.
