I was playing my NBA 2K11 game and I thought it might be interesting to see how much different PSD would rank their team's players.

Just list what you would put as the overall ranking of every player on your team. Obviously, video game rankings aren't how you should rate players, but I just thought this would be something fun to see. I'll start w/ my Celtics:

Rondo: 89
Ray Allen: 86
Pierce: 88
KG: 88
Shaq: 77

Jeff Green: 78
Big Baby: 77
Delonte West: 74
Nenad Kristic: 74
Jermaine O'Neil: 73
Troy Murphy: 72
Carlos Arroyo: 72
Von Wafer: 69
Avery Bradley: 69
Sasha Pavolvich: 69

the Raptors ****in suck....i only used them once in the game and they were absolutely pathetic. i wouldn't rank one of those guys in the 80's, but i thought Bargs should be a little higher at 76, instead of 73 like he is in the game.

nah he doesn't play defense. if i actually created him, i'd give him a high dunk rating, pretty good mid-range rating, and pretty good FT rating. that's really all he's good at right now, but i fully expect him to get better next year. maybe in 2k12 he can be an 80 but no way in hell right now

Yeah, they're probably a little high. But I would rank pretty much every player a bit higher than their actual ranking. If I was a teacher, I'd be a real easy grader. :laugh2:

maybe if he could do something other than scoring. scoring is all he does. can't really play defense (steal or block), can't really make plays (even though he's getting better). i guess i'm a tough grader lol

obviously an estimate lol...i actually wanted to do research on stats and re-make the stats for players, but i think it'd take wayyyyyyy too long. i might do it for some teams

High 80's is perennial All-Star/All-NBA Team (2nd or 3rd) caliber players. Or the rising elite.

Take the PER of the player with the highest PER (LeBron James, 27.02), compare your team's players' PERS as a percentage of the highest PER. The percentage is their rating.
(i.e. LaMarcus Aldridge: (21.59/27.02)*100=79.9 rating) (i.e. LaMarcus Aldridge is 79.9 percent as efficient as the NBA's most efficient player, LeBron James)

Eh - nah - can't just use PER. I'm not comfortable with Kevin Love rated as the 4th best player in the league ahead of Cp3, Durant, Dirk, Kobe, etc. I don't think you are either.
