Well guys, who is your pick? There are a lot of good options if we are talking about veterans. Here are guys that come to mind for me.

Jason Kidd
Dirk Nowitzki
Jermaine O'Neal
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Mike Bibby
Jameer Nelson
Antonio McDyess
Peja Stojakovic
Shawn Marion

There are a lot more players than this but these are the guys that stuck out for me. Personally I would love to see Dirk, Big Z and McDyess get their ring. What are your thoughts, any other guys you can think of?

Kidd, because I'm a Nets fan and him winning a championship would put the seal on his HOF career

Dice. He's the classiest guy on that list and he overcame a career-altering injury to comeback and contribute.

Move Griffin to safety?! personally i think he's our best corner, move winfield if we gotta. but damn our safeties are terrible, anyone would be an improvement.

anyway, back on topic now. Nash, Kidd, McDyess, and Dirk are the ones that come to mind for me.

I left Nash off the list and any other player that was not in any real contention to be in the playoffs or have a chance at winning it all.

This is probably my number 1 choice as well.

I like Dice, but Nash (though it wont happen this year), Grant Hill, Big Z (but I am not in the mood to watch Miami win), and I'm sure there are a few others I'm just not thinking of right now.

Nash is my number 1 and that will always be the case. Too bad he won't get a chance this year.

Steve Nash or Dirk... They both deserve it and both have been pretty classy guys in the league.

That would be Nowitski, Kidd, and Nash. Mavs could do it this year.. Nash needs to say goodbye to Pheonix.

I'd pick those two.

But for someone who has a real shot, I'd put Kurt Thomas.

I would really love to see Dirk win one. Aside from the fact he has been one of the leagues best players for a decade he is one of the few loyal true franchise players left in the league.

Kidd and Nash would also be nice.

Why did you leave LeBron off? not that I'm complaining, I hope he never gets a ring.

example, I can't stand the Bulls, man I don't like them. BUT, say they face the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, I would be cheering for them. My dislike for LeBron is rather large. I am a Wade fan too, and really don't mind the Heat franchise. It's really unfortunate they have that arrogant fk.

Delonte West, Jermaine O'Neal, Jeff Green, Nenad Kristic, Troy Murphy, Carlos Arroyo, Von Wafer, Avery Bradley, and Sasha Pavlovic.

Really though, for non-Celtics (because I obviously want any player on the team I root for to win more than players on teams I don't care about) I've always loved Nash, so I'd like to see him win one. I also like McDyess on the Spurs, and this would also result in Bonner (one of my favorite players, from NH and I went to his basketball camps) getting a second ring. Plus, if the Celtics win then I would love if the Spurs won, because it would mean that LA, Chicago, Miami, etc all lost. I like the Spurs, I hate a lot of those other teams.
