Its hard to imagine a team with Lebron and Wade losing 6 games in a row. Hell, even 5 in a row. 6 is gonna create madness, especially if it isn't close.

As a Laker fan, there are a few of us expecting us to lose tomorrow. If Miami had won 5 in a row, I'd be more confident. I've said it a few times already, and miami is gonna play this like game 7 of the Finals, guys are gonna start hitting 3's, etc. Most of all though, Miami is a good team, with 2 of the top 5 players in the league, some of the best shooters, and an all-star PF. I can't imagine Lebron and Wade on the same time losing 6 straight games, most being at home too. I just can't see it.

There is also a part of me that just wants them to win so that we can get them off the media bandwagon... It's a shame because there are other good teams in this league, LA, Boston, Chicago, Orlando, San Antonio, New York etc... but I mean nobody doing anything good this year is getting any recognition.

If the the big 3 in south beach didn't get together, teams like the Spurs would get more coverage. I'm an LA fan, and I feel slighted by the media overlooking what the Spurs have done this year. Pretty sad.

Miami-Desperately need a win. What's better than a win over the two time champs? I think it'll turn into a nailbiter where the teams exchange the lead several times over the game and it gets finished off by Wade. (Don't give the last shot to LeBron-just in case.)
Knicks- Mavs have been playing like absolute **** lately, so I'm expecting them to be blown out by the Knicks by at least 55 points. (**** them, the way they've been playing lately. They deserve to be blown out.)

Could have been a 23 game winning streak if not for three one-point losses (2 buzzer beaters) and they have been absolutely **** lately? How 'bout the Heat? They have lost 5 in a row, the one against SA was a blow-out, if the Mavs have been **** lately, I couldn't imagine what the Heat are now.

yes they lost to the Cavs, but the Lakers lost to the Cavs and the Rockets and the Clippers...all teams they were supposed to beat.....and what team hasn't blown a huge lead???...the only difference is (unlike the Heat) the players seem to understand their roles and Melo was able to get the ball and compensate in the end....so no I don't get your point and am even stretchin to call it a point because its not...anyone can see that Amare and Carmelo complement each other....

find a post of mine where i praised the heat for their recent performances.

until then, i can comment on another person's post with my opinions AND facts.

fact: knicks lost against the team with the worst record in the NBA, twice.
fact: knicks almost blew a game last night
opinion: it is too early to tell if the knicks are better post-trade. don't forget they've beat good teams before melo.

i don't understand why people think a person is not allowed to post their opinions because their team is on a losing streak.
where's the correlation between the two?

you stated that the knicks are coming together. i disagreed. it is in my opinion that it's too early to tell.

it is also in my (and other sports analysts) opinion that melo and amare do not complement each other.

Im curious why you think that. Of coarse i didnt think that either at first but from what i seen they actually move well without the ball. Almost all of Melos assist so far has been to Amare so i doubt they cant learn how to play off each other

Dude, you couldn't be more wrong here. Melo and Amare were close so many times to scoring 30 points in the same game. I've watched every Knick game to this point as well, trust me, those two games compliment each other pretty good.

I actually appreciate Kevin Durant telling the press that “fifty percent of the game is mental” following Oklahoma City’s win. Not, “99 percent of the game is mental” or “above all, this game is all about the brain.” No, “fifty percent.” Because the other 50 percent is all about being a badass 7-footer that can make 25-foot bombs look like lay-ups.

WoW! I can't believe how many empty seats there are. I mean, there are like 5 top 15 players playing ( Gasol, Bosh, Wade, Kobe, Lebron). Truly pathetic. Looks like the band-wagoner fans couldn't take a losing streak. Shame on Miami.
