I remember seeing a thread earlier in the season about MIP and Love for sure takes this award without question.

From an unbiased opinion, I think he absolutely has to win this or it'd be highway robbery.

What, seriously? I have to know why. Love deserves this award, it has to be the biggest lock of all the NBA awards this year.

The uprise of his stats is nice but isnt that expected from lottery picks?

Mathews on the other side is a semiunknown that has filled Roys shoes to perfection out of nowhere.
Blazers have a winning record thanks to that ( and other things too) withouth their supposed franchise player-

Whats minnies record?

Expected from Lottery Picks? No one expected Love to average 21 and 16 this season. That is 7 point and 5 rebound increase from last year. What Love is doing is simply incredible and how can we ignore his consecutive streak of double doubles this season. I am not saying what Matthews is doing is not great but it is no where close to what Love has accomplished. Love is shooting 43% from behind the arch, he shot 33% there last season.

Plus Matthews has barely improved his rebounding numbers and his FG% has dropped this year.

Sorry but you are way off on this one. Take a look at the stats for yourself.

wesley matthews or Dorell Wright clear front runners for most improved.

I would take Wright before Matthews but no one comes close to Love. Nobody.

i want to say yes because Love has been great this season, but he was great last year.
as a starter last season he put up 15/13

this year his numbers are better than that, but 15/13 is great and shows he was already a great player

so if that warrants MIP, then I guess I'm ok with it since no other player truly comes to mind that has been way better except Eric Gordon, but he's missed a lot of time

Part of individual success in basketball is what effect you had on your teams wins in many peoples eyes so that doesn't deserve a face palm..

Dorrell is my vote. IMO Love has better numbers by a lot, but Wright is the more improved player over last year.
