You guys have to make sure you don't give tham any confidence. They've beaten you guys twice already, so it's important to blitz them from the start and don't look back. I'm expecting a blowout. I'd say Bulls win 113-95.

NBA loves seeing the Bulls win.. For some reason.. The Miami heat vs Bulls game was a great example.. Two lame foul calls and the bulls win..

I could be wrong though.. Just my opinion, don't bash..

RZZZA

how can you say the 3rd bulls/heat game was fixed by refs? Heat had the final offensive possession, 16 seconds on the clock, and ultimately 2 chances to hit the game winning shot.

I think you are forgetting the two noncalls that were foul calls on Deng.. The second "foul" was rediculous.... Refs shouldn't call those in the end of a game since Deng clearly wasn't fouled..

The first one where Deng got shoved to the ground in the act of shooting? That wasn't a foul?

And the second one, did you even watch? You can clearly see Deng is going to get the rebound on the back tap and then Miller shoves him on the back from behind and Deng is on the ground.

That has to be called.

If you're going to talk about foul calls that weren't, how about when Wade got a foul called on Korver on a layup when no one touched him. Or the multiple times Lebron and Wade slammed Rose when he drove with no call. Similar thing happened last night too, Wade drives, makes a layup and yells and there is a foul called

**** that bull **** about the Bulls getting a bunch of calls. They average 24.3 FTA per game, that's 15th in the NBA. Their opponents are called for 20.4 fouls per game, that's bottom 3rd in the league.

nyKnicks126
03-09-2011, 05:33 PM
I guess the call wasn't clear to most nonfans.. You are a fan of the bulls so of course you saw that he was fouled..

I absolutely thought it was questionable when it was first called. When I saw the replay I saw why it had to be.

That's a clear foul, a push in the back that changed the likely possession of the ball with seconds left and a 1 point game. If you allow that foul you likely change the outcome of the game. That along with the fact that it was simply cheap, Miller was in no way going for the ball, he just shoved Deng from behind.

ElMarroAfamado

I hope Celtic fans are taking note of this game against the Clippers. The Clipper bigs are not as refined offensively as the Laker bigs (in that alot of their points come off dunks) now imagine they face a tandem like Bynum and Gasol who are?
THIS is why they will miss Perkins. But since the Celtics are winning as of late Celtic fans will ignore it. It is not until the playoffs come that they will start realizing it.

The Celtics will probably come back in the 3rd and finish off The Clippers in the 4th quarter, since the Clippers normally collapse in the 3rd, but dont admire that and how great the Celtics are for coming back...worry about this 1st half.

ManRam

I know they've won 5 in a row, but I don't like how Boston has been performing since the trade. They've been letting really poor teams hang around with them, and tonight they are letting the Clippers build a 13 point lead at home after 1 quarter?

Interesting...they'll be the team to beat in the East until they're beat, but I don't think they're as infallible as they once looked.

Oh, and I'm hopping on the 76er wagon. I think they could give a team in the first round a run for their money. Don't think they're ready to get out of round one, but I think they could win a few games. I like how they play on both ends as a team, and they're very well coached. Brand has been a really nice comeback story.

i forgot Shaq and big baby are injured.....but even with them back I dont know....

As a Magic fan, I love the trade because Perk was a Dwight stopper. Against the rest of the league, I thought it was a good trade. Green is a much better talent I think than Perk, and probably cheaper. But Shaq can't log big minutes and isn't a safe bet to be healthy. Big Baby can't guard most true centers. It definitely opens up a lot of questions for that team...

They might be more talented now, but I'm not sold they're better.

You should have seen the replay. All his weight came down on his twisted leg and knee. I was shocked that he could stand/put weight on the legs, but the limping suggests he twisted or (hope not:pray:) tore something.

And an off the ball offensive foul gives the ball right back to OKC. I'm not saying these fouls are wrong, I'm just saying there have been a ton of them.

I'm not a ref-whiner, nor do I buy any of the conspiracies (literally none of them)...but that game was called one-sided at the end. I don't think it was obviously done intentionally, but it was.

Seriously the Sixers got ****ing screwed in this game. That plus the fact collins refuses to foul when they are up by 3 is what lost them the game. Doug is a great coach but he needs to improve his game management at the end of games.

I know Boston wasn't looking at the Magic when they made the Perk trade, but as a Magic fan who thinks Magic-centric...I just don't get that trade. They did win 5 in a row before this, but all those games were close, and they didn't look too good IMO.

I may be a prisoner of the moment, but the Bulls seem to be the clear best team in the East. That defense is just so damn consistent...and in a 7 game series, that's huge. We all know the cliche about what wins championships...or at least playoff series...

Boozer is also a guy who has missed time this year, and who has missed 31, 49, 8, and 45 games before in a season. He's not exactly durable.

He'll miss some time. That's a definite sprain...probably higher ankle, and that can be weeks. Depending on the severity and what exactly was torn, it might even be longer. Speculating now is pointless.

memphis probably was more aggressive. however, a team averaging 25 free throws a game doesn't magically fall down to just 4 free throws in a game on 88 field golds while the home team, who was trailing the whole game, was conveniently awarded 35 free throws on 64 field goals.

Don't get too comfortable in 1st place, especially since you still have to play us in Chicago on April 7th.

Boozers' too important for the Bulls, so I say he'll only be out a week.

Other then Fridays home game vs the Hawks, which the Bulls should be able to win without Boozer. Especially since they will be out for blood after blowing a big lead against them last Weds. The Bulls schedule is pretty light over the next 12 days or so. They got Hawks Friday(at home), Jazz Saturday(at home), Wizards Tuesday(at home), Nets Thursday, Pacers Friday and Kings Monday(at home). So if Boozer was gonna miss time, this is a good time to do it. I think Monday March 21st vs Kings or March 22nd vs Hawks is when I'm hoping he will be back on the court at least by. The Bulls dodged a bullet that this injury wasn't anything bigger.

cubswin25

No... I listed them because the Bulls have a hard time with them when they play

Well it was only two games, and they were missing Noah or Boozer in each of those games. The Bulls started 0-2 vs Bobcats(didn't have Boozer and or Noah in those games either) and won the last two. Even though those games were close at times. See one thing people might realize is the Bulls rarely play their best basketball against the average or bad teams. For the Bulls to be at their most effective, they need to really play hard and want it on the defensive end. So going into games they feel they should win they often struggle in. For example the Bulls are undefeated this year against the Cavs, Wizards, Pistons, Rockets and even Bucks. But most of those games were close, or the Bulls had to come from behind by a lot to win. Not to mention they also have loses this year to the Clippers, Warriors, Nets, 76ers, and Raptors. But win or lose, those games all have the same story to them. Which is the Bulls played very poorly for most of the game, and then tried to turn it on late to win. Sometimes they got wins still like vs the Pistons, Wizards, Cavs,Horents(on Monday without Paul), Bucks and Bobcats tonight while they fell short against the Clippers, Warriors, Nets, Bobcats(in the first two match ups) or 76ers(and Knicks).

My point is there's two different Bulls teams, the one that plays against contenders, and the only that plays against the average or bad teams. The Bulls team vs the contenders plays at their best for most of the game and that's why there 10-0 vs the Celtics, Magic, Spurs, Lakers, Heat, Mavs and Thunder since early December. While the other Bulls team plays mediocre or bad basketball for 3 quarters and tries to turn it on at the end against the so called non contenders. So getting back to the Bulls loses to the Knicks this year. Which Bulls team do you think showed up to play the Knicks in those games? Remember the Bulls lost tot he Knicks 4th game of the regular season when it was questionable if they would even be a playoff team this year. Then on Christmas when it appeared they might be a 6th or 7th seed, but nobody saw them as a contender. So Knicks fans would be foolish to get excited over their wins over the Bulls this year. Because they haven't seen the Bulls play their best at them and they probably took them a little too lightly. Like they did with teams like the Bobcats and 76ers, who weren't any less of contenders then the Knicks were when the Bulls lost to them. If the Bulls play the defense they have on the Spurs, Magic and Heat in recent weeks, it will be a big difference in the effort the Knicks saw out of them in previous match ups. With the hype around the Knicks now with getting Melo and losing two them twice earlier in the year. There's no doubt in my mind that the good Bulls team will so up in their next match up.
