IMO the blazers are the most dangerous 5-8 team in the WC, because of their talent and size. roy is finally getting healthy, rudy has been playing well lately. LA and wesley have been great all year long. the addition of gerald only makes them better. even though they dont score much but they are capable of playing great defense to make up for the lack of scoring.

What is the most dangerous team in your opinion. i've added few teams taht are not in the top either at this point but have a chance to make the playoffs.

Size? Didn't know they had that. They are definitely a dangerous team.

Denver. They have one of the best benches in the league

Denver scares me also.

Memphis. They have the ability to score, a legit center and 2 of the best individual defenders in the game (Allen and Battier).

Memphis has beaten Spurs, Mavs, Lakers, and Thunder

I say them, but Denver will make the 2nd round if they are the 5th seed against Thunder

Memphis, Denver, and Portland will all give teams trouble.

Obviously I'm a bit of homer, but I agree with you. Portland should be getting some love too.

Denver.

For me it is the Grizz and the Nuggets. The Grizz are really starting to put things together and they have the makings of being a very good defensive team outside of ZBO. Conley, Allen & Battier all on the court together is a defensive coach's dream. I really like them in the playoffs and I think they could give any of the higher seeds a tough series.

I'd pick Denver... the damn problem with that is they have an 11-20 road record... Blazers are 15-17... hell, they'll all be slaughtered by LA and San Antonio anyway. This is just to pick the sacrificial lamb right? ;)

11 teams above .500, there won't be an easy first round in West Conference.

Even Golden State's 27-35 record is good enough for playoff in the East.

Portland; Miller-Roy-GForce-LA-Camby is a deadly lineup right there...

I'd say the Grizzlies for sure. Especially if they draw the Thunder or Magic.

I'm assuming he means Mavericks since that'll be a great chance to upset.

Gotta be Memphis for me, they've shown they can beat Dallas, LA, and San Antonio on any given night. Not to mention its hard to point out any real glaring weakness in their team.

Imma go with Portland...

Aldridge and Wallace are a nice 1-2 and if Roy can play at maybe 80% of what he can usually do I think they could surprise a few teams.

If portland can put it all together with them getting g-force and if roy can be somewhat healthy then i say them but otherwise i think its denver.

I went with Portland...I'm hoping they don't get matched up with the Lakers...because I think if they get matched up with the Mavs they could possibly upset them in the 1st round..

i'm in love with the Grizzlies
once Rudy gets back, dangerous team that can upset the Spurs or Mavs, and give the lakers fits as well
