Kobe Bryant, he's set for huge pay days until his contract expires and he is the Lakers franchise.

Gilbert Arenas definitely. If he was untradeable last year (Magic done ****ED UP.) he is DEFINITELY not tradeable this year. Or any future year for that matter.

Technically, Everyone is Untradeable at the moment (hehe Trade Deadline has Passed) But I would say that would be Kevin Durant, I wouldn't have said this last year but now Rondo, Derek Rose, Blake Griffin and Kevin Love.

Contract wise its has to be Arenas or Lewis. Based on what they have done for the franchise and what the fans would do if they were traded probably Kobe or Duncan.

GREATNESS ONE

I'm going to assume you mean, players who can never would/should ever happen untradeable. Kobe or Duncan are at the near top following with a list of young players near the top as well.

doesnt matter how bad and untradable a contract/play may seem, there will always be takers.see: eddy curry, baron davis, gilbert, turk, lewis.all fans said they couldnt be moved and yet were...there will always be a gm willing to bet on a guy no matter how bad it may seem.

as for the good kind? anyone young, cheap, very good already and yet has upside: blake griffen, rose, wall,kd,ect.

I think many people didn't understand the question. The OP is referring to bad contracts and not players that are untouchable like a Kobe Bryant or Kevin Durant. Gilbert Arenas has already been traded so I don't think he would fit into the category. There aren't a lot of players that can't be traded when you take into consideration of the contract's length. 2 years ago, I would of said Elton Brand, but he's been a pretty decent producer of 15 points and 8 rebounds. Not to mention that he'll only have 2 years left after this season is over being owed $35M.

Untradable = Can't be traded. I.E. guys like Gilbert/Lewis/Rip
Untouchable = Can't be traded for. I.E. guys like Kobe/Rose/Durant

Not to be a homer but I gotta say Dwight... where else are you going to get that type of production

Derrick Rose or Kevin Durant. I understand the Blake Griffin argument, but you can make the same argument for D. Rose or K.D., and they are better basketball players.

Edit- Oh, I guess I meant untouchable.

That doesnt matter. Right now its gotta be Gilbert Arenas.

The Magic were in a funk and they thought they could revitalize his career. Even then they were the only team willing to take a chance on him, and the only reason they did it was because they were able to trade the #2 worst contract in the NBA behind him to get him.

Now they are stuck with him for the long haul. Nobody will take him.

Durant and Rose are top 2 for ruining the franchise for next 10 years.

Kobe or Duncan are top 2 for upsetting a fanbase and kind of tarnashing a legacy-type relationship.

Skill- Dwight Howard only real dominate Center in todays game!
Contract- Kobe he has a no trade clause and will never leave LA!
Personality- Duncan he is SA!
Vodoo Curse- Arenas the man is followed by trouble and bad luck!
Whatever- Durant the man is the future!

Right now I would say it's KD. He has just resigned with the Thunder and he means everything to that new franchise. IMO, coming right after him is Rose

What if he says that he will leave in 2012?

If we add that in then every player in the league is tradeable but I have a feeling that the NBA is going to add a franchise tag to stop players from leaving!

Nobody's untradable. 3 of the worst contracts got traded this year Rashard Lewis, Gilbert Arenas, Baron Davis. Heck even Hedo got traded twice!! The question should not be who is untradable?i The question should be is it possible to trade a bad contract for something worthwhile in return?!?

That may be, but notice how Lewis was traded for Arenas, can you not put 2+2 together?
