First time of me watching this kid play a full game, and he's pretty impressive.

Is this the play of the year? http://www.nba.com/video/games/wizards/2011/02/26/0021000873_dal_was_play5.nba/

Yup, his problem has always been consistency.. He improved so much since last season, and if it wasn't for Kevin Love, he'd be a really serious MIP candidate.

I'm interested to see how he improves over the offseason.. Next year will be his make or break year to see if he can be a good player in the league

That was pretty badass actually. Too bad he rarely passes the ball and is streakier than all hell. He is a pretty damn good shooter though.

What are you talking about? He was the 16th pick and has achieved nothing. Great scorer but seems like a selfish player.

Kevin Durant doesn't possess the athleticism to do what Nick Young did tonight.

He helps my fantasy team, but from everything I've read (and I've gotten the same feeling when watching him) he comes across as a guy who cares about his scoring numbers before other things, and has a rock bottom basketball IQ.

You're wrong.

Nick Young and John Wall are the only players on the Wizards that have been playing to win all season. He obviously puts his all into EVERY aspect. He crashes the boards, plays hard D, etc. He may not be good at rebounding or defense, but the effort and desire to win is there. That's from someone who watches 75 wizards games a year.

I remember when Nick Young single handedly shot the Bulls back into a game. It was that bad.

Good shooter, but a chucker.

He's jamal crawford lite. Great scorer but extremely inconsistent. Could give you 50 one game and shoot 2-20 in the next. I dont know much about his defense but it seems to be kinda bad

Nick Young has always been a straight baller! kid got skills. for some reason AI comes to mind...

Too bad he's in Washington where they probably havent worked to legitimize his game.

Right now he has to learn to not take EVERY shot as soon as he touches the ball

Nick Young=Gilbert Arenas=Monta Ellis=Allen Iverson=Antione Walker=Vince Carter=Antawn Jamison=Kevin Martin=Andrea Bargnani=Zach Randolph=Andray Blatche=Rudy Gay=Brook Lopez=Stephen Jackson....

Players who put up some flashy numbers, but never do anything to help their team win consistently.

I would pass on each of the previously mentioned players. They just don't play winning basketball.

He's good. If he keeps playing like he is and adds more D to his game he could b an all-star

I don't do this often but

Such a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE statement.

If Kobe Bryant didn't have Shaq and now Pau he'd be mentioned on that list as well. If Jordan didn't have Pippen and the supporting cast he did he'd be mentioned on that list as well. So can a Wilt Chamberlain etc etc etc.

This is a TEAM game dude. All the better players you mentioned never had a supporting cast good enough that would equate to consistently good basketball.

If you are going to be ignorant and say stupid stuff its best you don't even bother post tbh.

That's a very impressive move and Young has been extremely impressive for the Wiz this season. One of the very best in the league at making contest jump shots. One of the few bright spots for the Wiz this season.

Gilbert Arenas and Jamison didn't lead the Wizards to 4-5 seeds for a few years? Hmmm.. Allen Iverson didn't completely carry his team year after year?

Andray Blatche being on this list is ridiculous, because he just blatantly sucks.

Nick Young has single handed kept us in games this year. Just because he puts up flashy numbers and the Wizards lose, doesn't mean he isn't a winner. He plays to win, and if he thinks putting up some shots won't hurt his team, he does it, because no one else on the team seems to want any big shots.
