My love for Kirk Hinrich makes me offer him up. In 07 he shot .46/.41/.84 and averaged 16/7 along with being one of the best defensive PGs in the game, at the time.

Mike Bibby, easily. . .During his kings days he should have been an all star a couple of times. He use to torch my lakers and do his little dance with a grin on his face. . .

Jamaal Tinsley
Rod Strickland, #9 on all time leader in assists, but never an all star.
Mark Jackson also came to mind, but he did made one all star.

Has to be Mike Bibby. He would have been the finals MVP in 2002 if the kings won the championship.... (in my eyes and many others, they did win it.)
I'm not a kings fan either.

stole my answer...Rod Strickland. Another supreme PG who was traded by the geniuses and MSG and for some reason blackballed after.

Rod Strickland and Mark Jackson aren't in the league NOW. Thread title says current so I'll go with Andre Miller or Mike Bibby. Bibby over Miller though because Bibby was better.

Bibby really was one of the league's best clutch shooters.
7:35 there's the clutch shot and dance you're talking about right? That's good stuff. Bibby was a baller.

I can't believe that so few have mentioned Andre Miller. Are people forgetting what he did in the second half of last season when Brandon Roy went out. He was one of the better defensive PGs (those days are behind him now) in the game while being a fantastic floor general. He is also still one of the best back to the basket players in the entire NBA despite the fact that he is a PG.

Andre Miller is the best among all those being considered.
#1 in career PER, #1 in career WS and WS/48, #1 in ORTG, #1 in AST%, #1 in TRB% #2 in TS% etc etc etc.
Not only is he the best pure point guard of the group in his better days he would have been considered as the best defensive player in the group. He was/is easily the WORST 3 point shooter of them all however.
Mike Bibby had a better peak than Miller IMO but as far as longevity goes Miller is the clear choice.
