There was a lot of rumors and speculation of players who were going to be traded and some seemed to possibly be a sure thing. I really thought the Mavs would have been able to swing a deal for Taysaun Prince. I am surprised to see that he is still a Piston.

Other guys who were likely to be dealt but weren't are guys like Stephen Jackson, Johnny Flynn, Rip Hamilton just to name a few.

Of the guys who were rumored to possibly be traded who are you guys most surprised to see staying put?

Prince doesn't shock me. He's an expiring sure, but he's probably got more value in the offseason in a sign and trade.

Going into the season and especially after the first month the general consensus in Philly was that Iggy would be gone by today. Amazing what going 25-16 since starting 3-13 has done to change the attitude of the franchise moving forward.

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised Utah didn't make any more moves.

Well seeing that the only reason the deal with the Mavs fell through was because of the fact that they were unwilling to budge on their offer of Butler and a future 2nd rounder, I'd say I was a bit surprised a team such as the Mavs were unwilling to offer a bit more to help bolster their squad.

I will address Flynn. Many thought he may be moved, but Kahn doesn't get ripped off in trades, and Flynn has zero trade value. He is terrible. There was no way I was expecting him to be moved, since Kahn would have had to given him away.

Are you admitting Flynn was a bust and Kahn's biggest blunder as GM was drafting Flynn ahead of Davidson sharp-shooter Stephen Curry, Jennings, ...etc.

Rubio's a Coin-Flip so *as of right now*, you got nothing from two first round picks (#5-#6) in what was a very talented draft.

Mayo, Hamilton and Kaman

Why Kaman?

Deandre Jordan has fallen back to earth recently and the Clippers are now at a crossroads as to who they should be starting at C since Kaman has returned.

i guess they thought Taj gibson wasnt worth trading. Really think a Taj Gibson+sweetener pick for J.R. Smith or Stephen Jackson was even for both sides. I keep hearing Keith Bogan's name almost makes me feel bad.

But back to OP's Topic, Caron Butler. It shocked me Cuban Stayed Put.

J.R. Smith would have been really nice on the Bulls. Cuban tried to trade butler for Tayshaun Prince. He offered a 1st round draft pick too but for some reason Dumars said no. I doubt Prince will be with Detroit next year and it looks like they'll get nothing for him now.
