I like Acie Law- he has some game. Get him on a vet team that needs a PG (talking to you, Riley) and see him improve.

Dont mind it. Nate robinson could start for a lot of other teams. who would they get?

Boston needs a SF, who do Warriors have at SG/SF they'd give up that would be any significance, dont say Vlad Rad!

Speak for yourself, Nate always has a nack for getting on a role when the team has no energy and eveyone on the team really enjoys his sense of humor.

LOL, so I guess the Warriors are playing a different kind of game. They seem more focused on playing "exciting" basketball and filling up seats then actually winning games. Hey, it makes some sense though, cause they obviously arent getting anywhere for a while with the Lakers, Spurs, Mavs in the way anyway.

If I were them I would make a big move with Curry or Ellis and Lee/Biedrins and get that athletic, defensive 2 and 5 and some backups.

To be fair they and Memphis have a chance at the playoffs with Melo/Billups and Deron/Sloan gone

Both Lin and Bell play better D than law. I don't mind having Nate as a spark plug scorer off the bench, gives us another option besides only Reggie.

dude that would never work. who would the celtics give up? Cause they aren't going to give up anyone in their starting 5. Let's say they would trade Ellis or Curry for 10 years of 1st round picks. Do you really think Curry/Ellis would be happy coming off the bench? Hell no.

i know his trade idea was stupid, but this might top that

Drcgswfan
02-23-2011, 03:36 PM
Well we know he can dunk over people LOL. At least he might be able to make some highlight films and posterize people to get the rest of the team fired up when they hit a lull offensively, which is in basically every game. Not sure what else he brings to the table. He can score with the best of them but is too inconsistent, he is undersized and can't defend very well, but if he gets swapped for the likes of Reggie Williams then he could fill that bench scorer better and more often than Reggie can. I guess that would be ok.

He is definitely more aggressive than Reggie is. Reggie can be a little too passive once in a while even though his role has been clearly defined to him by Smart. I guess the youth has something to do with that.

Pass whatever you got lit right now because if you think Nate could EVER defend a 3, you're high.

He has come a long way defending PGs. He can occasionally slide over to guard a smaller 2. That's it.
