Should the NBA change it's format to three on three since every team now just gets talked about in terms of their big 3? Clearly the other two guys on the court and the benches aren't important in any way shape or form.

HAHa. Boston is the best example. They have four great players and people still say big 3. unreal.

Miami is the only team with a big three while Boston has a big four

"big 3" should only apply to teams that have 3 all-stars.

Boston is now a "big 4", Miami is the only real "big 3" because Tony Parker can't make the all-star consistently, and neither can Manu.

honestly Boston's big 3 or 4 aren't really near the Heat's. Boston has an amazing team overall at this point but it's just not the same. Heat are the only team that deserves that title because it's truly their team. What's wrong with just calling Boston the best team in the east?

I mean in a sense every team has a big 3 - you just take the three best players. Who cares though. With the Heat it's legit, with the others it's just the three best guys on the team.

I thought most of us agreed that the beat didn't have a big 3?

Wasn't it two and a half?

And there was no typo, I will call the beat the beat until they can beat my celtics.

Watching the Celtics last night, it hit me that they have 3 good starting PGs and 3 good starting Cs.... Their 15th man is solid too in Wafer. The Celtics have a big 8 or 9. What a team... Only thing is they're kind of lacking in star power, but they may not need it.
