There are many teams out there that want him, but I dont think he got traded...... but I was wondering the same thing, maybe they have been informed that a trade is in place but it was too late to tell him so they are not playing him right now.

I think he might end up in New Orleans. He might even be sick or something that we do not know.

The Hornets are in talks with Sac about him; might've just got the deal done.

By every account, David West is not taking his 7.5 mil option with NO's this summer.

His absence could be signs of a trade.. or it could be something.. or it could be nothing at all.

Says 4 teams potentially engaged. I hope Phoenix is one of them. Try and fix our biggest weakness.

Portland needs to pick him up. He'll get big minutes doubling as a small and power forward. Maybe Portland could go small sometimes, playing LaMarcus at center, Landry at power forward and Batum at small forward. That's a great, athletic front court.

Carl Landry was held out of Tuesday's game due to his involvement in trade talks. He has been linked to New Orleans

Brandon Rush also inexplicably hasn't gotten off the bench tonight. Landry for Rush seems like a possibility. May be part of a bigger deal too.

On a radio show in Houston this weekend, Landry basically said he did not want to be in Sacramento any more

Who can blame him? the owners don't even want to be in Sac any more.

No, the reports said he may go to the Hornets. And Sac really doesn't need more youth; already among the youngest in the NBA. That team needs LEADERSHIP. BAD.

You're right, we don't need more youth, but we can also add something to an expiring contract (in Landry), and Thornton is THAT.

We need a shooter to spread the floor, and Marcus Thornton can help out with that.

Carl Landry is 27 years old -- that's not really Youth, if you think about it.

Mark Stein tweets that the Kings and Hornets are closing in on a deal that would send him to the Kings for Marcus Thornton and David Andersen
