not sure if you guys heard but the nets are talking with the nuggets if this knicks trade goes through they would offer 2 first rounders for one of the three felton galo or chandler with mozgov. Horrid franshise. Galo I think can be good but him and mozgov arent worth 2 first rounders

RZZZA
02-21-2011, 05:52 PM
mozgov is a 7 foot center, isnt he?

And the nets need a rebounder since brook lopez doesnt want to do it

If I were the Nets I would happily trade the two firsts at issue (neither is likely to be high) for Mozgov and Gallo. I would be thrilled with the deal as well.

I'll believe the Nets are out of it at 3:01 Thursday, or if he is traded to the Knicks. Whichever comes first.

what really makes me laugh is now twitter is reliable information. Thats what passes for real reports these days.

A tweet is now thread worthy.

When are these mods gonna do their fuking jobs? If there isnt a related article and link its not threadworthy.

Those were the rules the last time I was scolded by a mod.

So I guess a tweet now is the new rule?

Agreed. But if the deadline passes and he's still with the Nuggets and refuses to sign an extension, it'll be another 4 months of this.

Knicks must have thought they were 1st round worthy--gallo was our 6th pick and Mozgov makes money like he was picked in the lottery...I personally think the whole thing is ridiculous and played out...

Nets will NEVER be out of it. If ur owner calls a press conference to end all negotiations and then they come back that says alot.

The Nets have 9 lives. They like cats. But the Knicks are DOGSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

my tv told me with the white guy talking that the nets are in it till the end, and denver wants them in it, being cp3's and others speach about melo to ny at his wedding pissed off the nuggets owner. both denver and nj are hoping melo fliches and signs the extension with NJ, because the knicks have no real interest in ny's package, aka saying its 2nd tier compared to nj's offer.

twatted should be the actual name of twitter, "hey i was in the restaurant and twatted shaq"

according the MSNBC, the Knicks are working to bring Isaiah Thomas in, in some mysterious unspecified way, so that they can completely screw themselves yet again.

Sorry Knicks... it may turn out that the Knicks find a way to turn the Carmelo situation into another Friedrich Weiss scenario

Anilyzer
02-21-2011, 08:42 PM
honestly I'd like to see it go the deadline and the Nuggets panic.

I just don't see what the Nuggets' leverage is. How can Denver keep demanding more and NY is giving in to the demands? Is NY negotiating with itself?

If NY sends Denver everything they want, then NY fails. And it bugs me that they allow Denver to salvage something out of the deal. Denver doesn't deserve it, even though the 4 players are all pretty ordinary players you could get from D League, Europe, free agency or the draft.

Denver still goes down, but now they will try to say "yeaaaah, we got 4 for 1 !!" Even though it is really 4 for 4, really, and Carmelo unbalances it completely.

Balkman could be a good add for NY...

Anilyzer
02-21-2011, 08:45 PM
how about tradeline passes, and Denver publicly negotiates a Carmelo sign and trade in the media for the next 6 months.

why would the nets back out now(less than 3 days before deadline) and put the knicks in a better position? the nets are and have been trying to get the knicks to give more and more. and guess what, they have suceeded

The Carmelo Anthony trade saga is nearly over.

Indications are that a trade is imminent with the New York Knicks, with only minor details to be worked out before an agreement is reached, a league source said.

Anthony was not at the Nuggets' practice as they resumed workouts following the All-Star break.

Check back here and at denverpost.com/nuggets for more updates.
