No. If he were ever to do it, it would have been this year to please the fans that he pissed off after the decision.

He also promised to do it in Dallas, and he didnt.

No, he is too gutless and afraid of failure to compete. It's sad to be honest

no and it would be a bad move if he did because you got people complaining tonight about griffins dunks. Everything has been done and there is no upside in doing it.

He's too worried about his market value to risk getting injured in a dunk contest. Seriously; the guy is nobody's hero - he's as self-centered as the come. We're talking about the guy who told Ohio to go **** itself.

He's either scared or lacking the competitive spirit or both. he knows everyone wants to see him vs blake. Maybe next year.

no because he has no creativity. he always does the same 2 3 dunks in game....and he would probably only win because his name is lebron james

Why make this thread?

If he didn't enter when he SAID he was going to enter, what makes you think he's ever going to?

Very rarely do you get established stars in the league entering the contest. For the most part, if you see a Carter or a Bryant, you are going to see them in their early years in the league.

I wish the stars would do it. Makes for more views imo. LeBron, Griffin, Dwight, etc.... It'd be a great event to watch then, even for the casual fan.

Of course..that would be great. But I think there is a feeling amongst the top stars that they are "beyond" the dunk competition. It's sad. I think the ONLY chance that we have of getting more stars into the competition is if the players start calling out each other and actively trying to get other stars in it.

Maybe he'll do it... but he'll probably request to do another hour long special to announce his "Decision" to do the dunk contest.

Well I guess if LeBron can eventually win a championship with the Heat, and being that he already has 2 MVPs, and a ROY, and a 1st team all NBA & all defensive apperance... this seems like the last fall back plan haters can resort to saying he can't win.

SMH.

we're not saying he can't win, we're saying he's gutless and a coward for not giving the fans and the league what it wants.

Lebron vs Blake Griffin slam dunk contest? are you kidding me? It'd be like Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather, everyone would want to see it.

the ban feast is nearer man.

The second Melo is finally traded the psd posters of the ditched team will create havock, and the "winning" fans will start baiting the other side of the hudson too.
Its going to be Bantastic.!!!

The funny thing is that Lebron has done every dunk that won Kobe a dunk title back in 97:D Imagine someone winning a dunk crown with those same dunks now
