View Full Version : Players That Shouldnt Have been All-Stars???

Either because they put up good numbers on a bad team or they were those 'one hit wonder' type players that fell off the map. Im mainly referring to the reserves since starters most definitely deserve to be Allstars.

Mo Williams and David Lee come to mind right away. Lee had inflated stats in NY last season on a bad Knicks team, and his lack of defense and impact has GREATLY influenced the terrible record he has now with the Warriors. Mo Williams IS NOT AN all star caliber player. Tyrone Hill and Chris Gatling come to mind as well...

there have been plenty of times players from the best teams in the league get a nod because there is some stupid unwritten rule that a team leading its conference MUST have more than 1 all star. Um, sometimes that team just has a ton of good players, and one star.
I will throw my own team under the bus. Wally should have never made an all star game.

I'm not saying this because I'm a Laker fan but I really believe this was the year Lamar should have been an All-Star. I know it's tough for a guy that comes off the bench but he has played outstanding this season.

Chris Bosh, this year

Typical... but you do know that winning > everything else. Or maybe you don't.

Should've made it over Love. I do like Love, but I can't stand to agree with Barkley. So its not you Love, its Barkley.

Peja

Why not? There was one year where Peja was an MVP candidate.. he deserved to make the team that year.

another name should be Blake Griffin not like his team is sporting a great recorded so according to your logic he should be at the top of your list. Other would include bosh last yr.

The top scoring team in nba this yr.
Denver
NY
Suns
Houston
Thunder
Spurs
LA
Warriors

I hate this BS argument that the systems inflates stats. So what is it called when other players in the lg have good stats that are on teams that have a top offense
