I personally think he could have played and sat out on purpose. Ive had a sprained toe and its tough to play through but nothing a cortisone shot wont fix.

The rest of the team were playing like little girls crying about getting traded for Melo. So he pushed them out on the floor to fend for themselves and find their balls again with out him holding their hands. And the team responded. Ball movement returned and players who were playing like dogs actually showed up to play.

It was the Nets but....
