These are my teams (In Order):

Celtics (Too much depth)
Heat (Big 3 plus shooters)
Spurs (Good mix of veterans and young guys)
Mavs (Healthy again & finally have a center that doesnt suck)
Bulls (Derrick Rose)

Just missing the list: Lakers, Thunder, and Hawks

Heat (See OP w/ elite level defense)
Celtics (They're too damn good)
Lakers (One of the best if not the best closer, plus great length)
Spurs (Great all-around team with solid bench)
Bulls (Derrick Rose and an elite level defense)

There are only 2 in my mind: LA and Boston... Spurs and the Heat are great teams, truly elite, but can't beat LA/Boston in 7 games... Bulls, Magic, Mavs and Thunder are pretenders IMHO.

Celtics (2nd best chemistry in the league, defense is too great, deepest team in the NBA)
Spurs (Best chemistry in the league, incredible passing, they have no team weaknesses)
Lakers (Proven winners, team with the most length, top 10 player all-time in Kobe)
Heat (They have the BIG big 3, solid roleplayers, great defense)
Bulls (DRose, best defensive team in the league)

Lakers
Boston
Spurs
Mavs
Magic

Heat will get dropped by Boston.
Lakers will have a hard time getting by the Spurs/Mavs
Magic are a streaky team. Once they're hot no stopping them.

Los Angeles - they'll get it going, in fact, I think they have more talent now than last year
Miami - LeWaOsh will continue to gel more and more. They struggle late in games, but they'll get it going. As far as I'm concerned, LeBron and Wade are 2 of the 4 best clutch players
Boston - My favorite right now
San Antonio - I think they're legit. Manu is a stud. Duncan is quietly as important to his team as anyone else. They're deep, the have the perfect mix of offense and defense.

Besides those 4, I'd be surprised honestly. Dallas could get hot. Chicago could too. Orlando maybe if they just get on an insane three point streak...but I doubt any of them will.

In order:

Boston
Miami
San Antonio
Los Angeles

Then there's Chicago, Orlando, and OKC who will all most likely put scares into the upper echelon teams, but probably won't make it all the way.

I see what you did there. Replaced Mavs with OKC.

the spurs disrespect amazes i mean there 42 & 8 if the lakers heat or celtics had this record the season would be over no need to play the playoffs theyd be crowned.

2) Lakers
3) Spurs
4) Heat
5) Mavs

Based on matchups, the Thunder, Bulls, Jazz, Magic, and Hornets have a VERY small chance of making it.

Bulls are very good, but I don't think they're there just yet. The Magic and Thunder aren't true contenders in my eyes.

If I am a Spurs fan, I wouldn't be bummed about it too much because every time the rest of the league count them out, they win a championship... ;)
