I really do have to laugh at all the serious, non-joking Rose posts.

I mean, really now.

People, please take 2 seconds to compare Rose with Chris Paul and see that it's not even remotely close.

Best pg: Chris Paul - What he does with that cast is amazing. Best 2-way PG in the NBA.
Best Sg: Dwyane Wade - I think this is the first year I feel okay moving him ahead of Kobe.
Best Sf: LeBron James - Obvious
Best Pf: Kevin Garnett - I've said Pau the last two year, but KG's defense is the best in the league right now...that means a lot to me. Toughest choice here, Dirk is in the mix too.
Best C: Dwight Howard - Obvious

Best Scorer: Kevin Martin - Seriously. 1.53 points per shot, huge FT rates, can score from literally anywhere. Only a 3 or 4 starting guards have a higher eFG%. ESPN has a stat on the bottom line showing that Melo scores like 0.67 points per shot when he's isolating. That's terrible.
Best Defender: Kevin Garnett - Up until a week ago, I'd say Dwight, but he isn't the same. I do think he has the largest impact of any player in the game, but KG is playing better shut down defense right now.
Best Team: The Boston Celtics
Best franchise ($): The LA Lakers

Best Player: LeBron James
Best Coach: Gregg Popovich
Best GM: Sam Presi (close to losing this crown unless he can pull off a big trade for a big man)

Paul seriously ***** on Rose in terms of advanced stats (waits for someone to come in and bash advanced stats now...).

Paul is still better. I don't think that outside of Chicago that many people doubt that.

Best GUARD in the league: Derrick Rose and the whole word agrees with me. We all know that.

Best FORWARD in the league: Dirk Nowitzki. He is truly a special player.

Best CENTER in the league: I'll say Dwight Howard even though he is soft as Kleenex but there's a lack of good centers nowadays so I had to go with him.

Surprised by all the Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose love for best in the league. They are incredibly exciting young players, and have potential to get there, but already best at their respective positions?

Also, with all the Buford love, I'm surprised he isn't a household name that people need to say "Spurs GM."
