He doesn't put up monster stats anymore, but he is obviously still incredibly integral to that team's success. He does all the little necessary things needed. They don't really have another big man who can do everything like Timmy can.

Good find.

We really are just struggling mightily from three. It's been a two week long slump. Everything else is okay: defense, rebounding, turnovers, etc.

It's the threes. We're 1-11 tonight from three  Defense are just crowding Dwight because we can hit a shot. He hasn't been efficient because of it.

I can think of a few...

Lou Holtz Lisp made a thread a few months ago proclaiming that Atlanta was the best team in the East or something...haven't seen him around lately.

I think they're good...but they'll perpetually be stuck at the 4-6 seed. Can't see them getting significantly better barring a major shake up.

Unreal... Unrealistically savage that is. He just runs into the paint with that steroid abused body and that's how he gets most of his points.

Now you talk about all around players with a post game, mid range, 3pt, finesse, good at driving to the basket, impact the game in other ways etc etc then those are unreal players, special players. Players who don't mainly rely on one attribute (in lebrons case.. strenght) to be relevant.

He plays to his strengths. Why would he need to post up at this point in his career if he can paintrain his way into the paint and draw contact? Later in his career if he is to remain effective, he will surely need to develop a post game, but give the guy some credit. I hate LeBron as a person, but there is no denying the fact that he is the greatest basketball player in the world right now.

Pretty good game going on in Orlando. But I just wanted to add that I think Kevin McHale made a very good point at halftime. The Magic's 3's have not been dropping as of late, so why continue chucking them? If they don't fall, they have to have a back-up plan to try and dribble it into the paint, take more mid-range jumpers, and just feed the ball to Dwight. Sure they're up right now, but against the elite teams it won't turn out so well.

Who knows? It's kind of what we do. I guess we figure that we just gotta shoot ourselves out of this. It's been like a 2 week long problem. Even the Miami game, where our final shooting numbers look okay...we couldn't hit a shot for the first 40 minutes.

There is no reason to jack up 23 when you are making 20% of them. LAC has done well swarming Dwight, but we need to attack and create plays, not just hoist threes.

This is the first time I think that we live and die by the three. The last two years I thought we did a good job finding other ways to score...not this year,

And the fact that he's an extremely solid rebounder, a solid shooter any way you want to cut it, an absolutely elite defender, absurdly clutch, and the best passing forward of all time? Just ancillary bonuses that you can accredit to his "strength", ay?

Your trollish stupidity amuses us.

That's the only reason I like him. I went from not really liking him because of all his pre-draft hype, to liking him a little because he was on my fantasy, to liking him a little more because he had fun playing the game and was damn good, to really like him because I found myself defending him from all the people who hate him for petty reasons...especially ones that hate him to the point they don't think he's great.

Yeah I agree. I guess the Magic had a better core of players, that really complemented each other, and the snipers were primarily catch and shoot players. Now you have guys like Hedo and JRich, while great shooters, really are better suited for isolation plays than catch and shoot. I have no doubt that their shots will start falling for such a great group of marksmen, but when it's not, SVG really needs to tweak their playstyle.

Not to discredit the Sixers at all, but I think many forget what kind of an impact Horford has on both ends of the floor for Atlanta. He is their most important player imo. He is one of the best passing big men in the league, always takes good shots, very good defensively, and he is underrated offensively.

So, who cares?

And it's a team game...so yeah. They're clearly playing no defense. 95% of the time willing your team to 90 points through 3 will be good enough. Except for when the opposing team has 98. Their interior defense is killing them. If LeBron wasn't having a great game, they'd be down 20+.

Indy is just making everything.

But it isn't over, and something tells me LeBron will have something to say about that.

9-10 assists when he has 9 turnovers? Haha. The appropriate answer would've been, "it was one bad week, dude!". Not to actually defend his play that night, or defensively the last game against Andre Miller + the Blazers; he was simply murdered.

I'm just messing with the idiot, no hate Bulls fans.

PS: You can also talk about Lebron's play in general over the past entire year, D Roses Bulls; including possibly the best regular season game of the past decade that he put up a week ago. Or, simply watch him right now.

I was thinking of maybe doing Wade as well, Bosh or JJ ? [B]Thing is, if we land Lebron that'd be my summer right there, you know? He'd be the meaning of a real successful offseason [and i do think Chicago is his best option]... Wade would also be more than welcome.

Anyways, once again, thank you guys.

Good job by the pacers, Heat win.. glad the game is over.. it gets tiring watching Heat & Bulls fans argue and cry like little high school girls.

I didn't read the whole thread, but it seems like 1 bulls fan arguing with a bunch of heat fans. 1 person = Bulls fans?

I've been a Heat fan since the early 1990s and I used have a ton of respect for the Bulls during their late 1990s run. But since the Heat-Chicago 2006-2007 playoff series and all the hate since LeBron rejected your city, I have no respect for the majority of these Chicago fans. I would say hate, but it's not hate--it's just simple annoyance. I know a lot of you are not like this, but you guys have a boatload of whinny, b itchy little girls.

LeBron James 15-23 FG | 9-13 FT | 13 REB | 8 AST | 41 PTS | +16
GRADE - A

The full breadth of James' game was at work. He was extremely aggressive in the Heat's early offense and on the break, and patient in half-court sets. His explosion at the end of the second quarter brought the Heat back from the brink. James' scoring tally slowed down the stretch, but he drained a huge shot with 14.1 seconds to go and a pair of decisive free throws.

HAHAHAHAA - Did we expect anything else?

Tangent12: "PSD's bitter ex-girlfriend".

Seriously, that is hilarious.

I literally almost posted that yesterday, but figured I would be nice to him.

He's a major hypocrite and we all know it. If LBJ went to Chicago (glad he didn't, he doesn't deserve a player like LeBron on his team) he'd LOVE and defend the hell out of him.

Almost made me laugh out of my seat.

A classic example of things you should NEVER post/do on PSD. Thanks for the lesson.

Great win for mia, and great team effort by the pacers in this one, both team benefited from this game.

Ok, tangent MUST be Skip Bayless. Have you seen his last couple tweets?

Wow, just watched MVP LeBron's team barely beat the Pacers in Miami. We've GOT to talk about this at 10 a.m. Eastern, ESPN2. See you then.

That Boring Team I'm Banned from Talking About, the one every 1st&10 debater calls "frauds," just won ... again. Ho hum.

He's referring to the Spurs in the second quote. He bashes the Heat coming back impressively to beat a respectable team, but praises the Spurs for mostly playing awful and beating one of the league's worst teams? This is the only guy on ESPN that ever has anything positive to say about the Spurs, and I'm just ashamed.
