Which Western Conference team would you be most reluctant to face in the playoffs, excluding LA and San Antonio? The West is really deep once again this season, so there's a good amount of teams that could pose quite a threat.

As for my answer, I'm going to go with Denver. I think if they still have Melo after the trade deadline, the distractions will begin to subside and they could be come a scary team once again come playoff time.

Definitely Portland.

Prediction: Portland will beat any team in the first round of the playoffs other than SA (and maybe LA)

I too think Denver. They have the toughness in the front court and the skill in Melo to take on anyone in the league in a series.

OKC is still where I have them at last year, a great 1-2 punch in Durant and Westbrook with still ZERO front court presence. Some of the OKC posters already know what I suggested towards the beginning of the season on what it might take/cost for them to be legit threats.

Like every decision I have had invloving Dallas, no comment. :o

The rest are too weak too be anything to worry about.

How is the number 2 seed a dark horse?

Portland. Aldridge is killing it, I think they can make a little noise in the playoffs. At the very least they're going to push a team to 6 or 7 games.

Denver and OKC,particulary OKC,if they can feel it during the playoffs, they can upset some contender.
