Rashard Lewis is not getting traded anywhere unless its for an equally bad contract

Doubt anyone is taking Rashard Lewis, I think Orlando should be thrilled they some how traded the 2nd highest player in the NBA. Nobody has a 22 million dollar expiring to give Wizards especially when the contendor doesnt want a man who just shoots 3s.

The only reason I said Rashard Lewis, is bc I saw a link on NBA.com or HoopsHype a week ago saying they are in talks with contenders for him since he is not in their future plans

Really? These are the ONLY people you see getting traded? There's no way all of these people get traded before the deadline. Also, when did Troy Murphy and TJ Ford become "big names?"

Like I said, all NBA trades are on the front page of NBA.com. No hard feelings, I just disagree with your post.

I think if they can the Pistons would love to dump some contracts. I would love to see Prince or Rip on a contender again. Either one of those guys on a Texas team....

They want Prince to stay because they want expiring contracts, they are hammered down by Charlie V and Ben Gordon. Once Prince comes off the books for them in the summer it will help them.

hammered down?

gordon- 10 mil a year for someone who can easily get 20ppg.
Cvill- 7-7.5 mil a year for someone who can light up off the bench most nights not bad if you look at other team big contracts for players who do about the same.

our bad contract is Rip who will be gone if not cheap buyout in his contract next year.

Very valuable $17 million expiring contract and a struggling Jazz team.

They traded for an even bigger contract in Arenas!!

I scoffed at Denver's demand of 5 picks for Melo, but Dirk is worth like 6 first round picks if he were to be traded. The guy alongside any other star would win a championship immediately.

I could see Artest moving for Battier

Keep an eye on Omri Casspi because I can see the bulls making a move.
Captain Jack would be lucky to get to the bulls.
Arenas could be moved if the other teams get desperate or face a big injury

Raptors will probably unload Barbosa, Reggie Evans and maybe Jose. All 3 guys are excellent at certain things. Blur (instant offense) and Evans (Rebounding beast) are both expiring contracts and Jose off the bench is an excellent PG option, he might have his defensive flaws but is improved this year and can run an offense with the best of them.

-I think Orlando needs one more deal , I see them dangling J-Rich's expiring
-Same for the Lakers, the odd man out looks like Artest..but whats his value now? It's not much..If the Lakers want to make a splash they might have to trade that often injured young center of theirs and hope he fights his injuries somewhere else the rest of his career..Bynum for Rubio's rights? I could see it happening
-Memphis.. What does this team need to get over the hump? Honestly I'm rooting for them to make the playoffs.. I think they need a veteran like Billups or his two buddies in Detroit..they don't need OJ Mayo..he's gone

I think the following is a strong deal that is needed for both teams. Memphis gets a guy that will compliment there roster, improve there team as a whole, get a defender that is needed if you want to compete in the west, and unload a player that needs a change of scenery. This helps them now and in the future. I think the 76ers do it to hope a great coach turns around a headcase and give the Sixers a young big. This also gets them younger and fills them with more long term potential.

that also means 18 mil for no defense and they have 5 year contracts..

Don't bother. He's just a homer and it isn't worth your time. The reality is that Charlie V's deal is not terrible, but Gordon's is pretty awful. He "could" go for 20 on any given night, but he averages 12 and change and shoots under 44% from the floor with way too may turnovers for his minutes and no defense. Detroit would void that contract in a second if they could.

I think the concept of any Pistons fan looking forward to a future led by Gordon and Charlie V is funny.
