I think Portland has much more chances to win being 17-7 at home, while Bulls are only 11-11 on the road.

Yes, but to say it's an easy game? Baller101200 either didn't see it or was trying to bait. I'd hardly call it easy when a team beat you by 12 last time and now Roy is out. I'm aware Aldridge has stepped up, but he put up 33/9 in the last matchup.

RZZZA

Bulls are kinda unlikely to drop 2 straight, hasn't that only happened to us once this season?

and we're REALLY unlikely to drop 3 straight, that hasn't happened all season

Three times actually. But your point is valid, we aren't susceptible to losing streaks thus far this year.

Wes Matthews.

Wesley Matthews? Nicholas Batum? Andre Miller? They still have some decent players, even when their half of roster is injured.

Man this team would be easily a title contender if not all the injuries. I want to see them at full strength someday. But that day will prolly never happen.

Cubs Win

plus this portland team doesnt play fast like the warriors and knicks, who do we have to worry about besides aldridge?

Well, there's Wesley Matthews, Andre Miller, Rudy Fernandez, and Nicolas Batum who can all put up a big game, but seeing how they mostly come from the 1 and 2 guard spots, we should be able to keep them under control with Rose and Brewer. And Deng should be able to make it tough on Batum. Roy being out definitely helps a lot.

I'm not worried about Portland. I'm aware that they're a playoff team, but I don't care too much whether or not they win at this point.

I think the Bulls are going to win, if that's what you wanted to hear.

You should be embarrassed trying to compare the Lakers (especially when I referenced the last decade) to the Mavs. Considering over that span the Lakers have won more championships than any other team. The Lakers have 10 times the heart our team plays with in games like these. I hate the Lakers to death, but I'm certainly not blind. There's a reason my Mavs have had a soft label.

Really? Winning championships doesn't mean anything cuz they do play to the level of the competition just look at this year they have been blown out by teams way below .500! Playoffs r a different story though

Because a team that's won championship is normally one that is strong mentally. Versus the Mavs, who have proven time and time again, we really lack a strong mentality. Look at it this way, the Lakers very clearly have an on/off switch. How do we know this? They go through these bad stretches every year and then roll through the playoffs. Then look at the Mavs...we've been doing this same thing for the last decade, then when we get to the playoffs, we play like a team with no heart.

Comparing the Mavs and Lakers certainly seems silly to me. I understand the similarities you speak of, but they are the result of different things. The Lakers just don't care and get lazy during the regular season. The Mavs just lack a strong mentality. Look at the differentials of the two teams...nearly identical records and you guys have twice the margin we do. We don't know how to blow out teams.

Rose need someone on the perimeter to take some of the offensive load off him. It's time for Thibs to bench Bogans and start korver or Brewer.

Now I see the 37-40 from the FT line. That has to be a mistake right? Were they even legit calls or was it the usual Rose Garden HC advantage?

Why doesn't Korver start?

because, he is the one that is supposed to provide firepower off the bench. for us. Strangely enough, our coach doesn't really play him that much minutes. the better question is, why does bogans keep starting?

Well..

Bulls: 25 PF
Blazers: 15 PF

Bulls: 18 FTA
Blazers: 40 FTA

I'm hardly blaming this game solely on the referees, but I don't think that big of a disparity happens without several questionable calls being made.

well, he has been good with us defensively. Good player.

He just doesn't really provide any offense. Unless it's on the fast break, or he is near the baseline.

he is good at dunking and defense, thats about it...jump shooter? no

And oddly enough he's missed a wide open dunk in back to back games to absolutely kill our momentum.

lol. Ironically his 2 missed dunks indirectly cost us the last 2 games. Instead of the Bulls going up by 9, both the Warriors and Blazers went back down the court and got a layup, turned momentum around and never looked back.
