Magic and Suns close to deal

I actually think these trades Orlando are making are going to make them worse off. What made hedo great when he was on there before was the combination of 2, 6 foot 10 SF/PF's who could handle and shoot the 3 in Rashard Lewis and Hedo. W/o Rashard, Hedo isn't as dangerous which is why he sucked on every team he's been on outside of Sac Kings and Orlando.

also, J Rich and Arenas are chuckers who play no defense

If you go read some Orlando Magic blogs/forums, you'll see both points I made then being complained about now in regards to hedo, arenas and J Rich. I've seen posts where Magic fans are wishing they had Rashard back:D

I still don't buy it. Carter and Lewis were wastes, Gortat was having a down year.

The Magic don't care if we're worse now...it's February.

Only time will tell.

Remember how bad Miami looked in the beginning of the season....

The Magic will be fine when it's all said and done.

Yeah they are now the 5th seed in the EAST!!!!!!!! Thats crazy

Dwight is def gonna leave cause they cant do nothing with Arenas contract

They need to start Arenas and let him play alot thats how they would get the best of him

I just feel bad bc they just opened that new expensive arena and when Howard leaves they are gonna lose a lot of money!!!!!!!!!!!!

I miss when they had Nelson, Lee, Hedo, Lewis, Howard

Courtney Lee was an underrated key to that team!!! And he was soooo young

Getting Vince Carter messed all of this up!

@manram, i understand what you're saying. the celtics looked this bad last february. but, at the end of the day, they had the talent that could step up when it had to.

where is that talent on orlando? i don't think i see it.

more concerning to me is what this means about dwight's future in orlando. his supporting cast is looking more and more cleveland-esque by the game.

This is basically how a Magic fans should look at this. The Magic did get better, there is no doubt about that if you look at what Carter and Lewis were doing this season. Both were just shooters, and Smith obviously realized that he needed a more balanced offense. Unfortunately, there are nights where they still look like the old Magic, a team that just shoots threes.
