Basically, if you weren't great in college, you probably won't even get a chance in the NBA unless you got some great potential.

Bro Adam Morrison. In college he had that Sweet 16 breakdown. I thought the kid was a sorry-*** puss. But it turns out Adam is a true champion and had the heart, desire, and natural ability to become a back-to-back champ. I mean look at these highlight tapes. Perfect music to.

Not to mention these cat-like reflexes and high basketball IQ or just IQ for that matter.

He even has one hell of an arm and the quickness to scurry away.

rajon rondo has to be one of those guys. his college career wouldnt indicate that he would become one of the league's best pgs. westbrook can also fit in this category, since he only had 1 year where he showed flashes of his talent in college.

Agreed on Adam Morrison, dude was OK in college but couldn't come up big in big moments...now he's got multiple rings. Definition of a late bloomer.

Big Baby Davis and Dejaun Blair, i thought both were good college players, but would never survive in the NBA due to their lack of size. They are actually very good 6th men in the NBA

Jrue Holiday can be on that same path.

I'd say Tyreke has potential to be better in the pros than in college.

Yeah, Blair absolutely dominated Thabeet every time they played in their final years of college (when Thabeet was considered such a great defender).

I think everyone really knew who the real deal was on that 05 Illini team. Dee Brown was speed with a decent J. Deron and Luther Head were the two best players on the floor and Deron was heads and shoulders above Head.

That's a really good list. As a Bama guy, I thought Wallace and Mo were good at Bama, but I had no idea they would be this good in the NBA over this long a period. Rondo is up there too because he was good but not great at Kentucky. I still wonder how good Rondo would be playing with an average cast though.
