We haven't had one of these threads in a long time. If you think teams knew how the prospects would turn out today re-arrange them based on Talent, and team needs. Here goes.

1. Derrick Rose CHI Bonifide Star Obvious Pick.
2. Russel Westbrook MIA Beasley was originally drafted with this pick but traded to create cap room for Mike Miller. I think Westbrook would be a better fit for this miami team then mike miller even though Miller is one of the best shooters in the history of the game. (pre injuries)
3. Kevin Love Timberwolves Averaging 21/15.6 Does anything really need to be said?
4. Brook Lopez (Then Seattle Super Sonics Now Thunder, need a Center badly, and there isnt better Center available I think 4 is too high for mcgee, and hibbert their games arent overall polished, for a #4 selection. Brook has the best offensive game of the two, and maybe he can pick up his rebounding..maybe
5. Michael Beasley Memphis Best talent availible. Even the best drafts in NBA history get thin.
6. Danillo Gallinari Knicks Stick with what the knicks have, best talent available at the time, still is in this mock. Perfect for NY's system.
7. Eric Gordon Clippers I think eric's the best fit for this clipper team.
8. OJ Mayo Bucks Unfortunetly for the Bucks one of the deepest Center Drafts would be useless to them because Bucks already have a franchise center and he's set to stay for a long time. 8 is too high to waste for mcgee or Hibbert to play back up C, when their both have the talent to start.
9. Dj Augustine Bobcats. Same pick for the bobcats. Under the new coach Austine is really blossoming lately.
10. Javalle mcgee Nets Rebounder/Hustler constantly. Constantly Swats a lot of shots away. Maybe not as great as brook offensively but Rebounding/blocking wise he's better
11. Roy Hibbert Pacers Surprisingly Hibbert gets drafted by the pacers, just not the 18th pick, and isntead the 11th. (Pacers drafted bayless with this pick, and traded it to Blazers)
12-Jason Thompson Sacremento Kings
13 Nicolus batum Portland Trail Blazers (Batum was originally drafted by blazers but lower during this draft)
14 Robin lopez warriors. They need Size. He has been accused of being soft rebounding wise, but i think he's just what the warriors need.
15. Serge Ibaka Suns -Ibaka's great insurance at the PF spot in case amare leaves.
16- JJ Hickson 76ers . Best talent avail.
17-60 Fill in if you want.

What do you think? I worked really hard to write this, give me your opinions or your own mocks!

One of the Deepest Drafts of all Time. 2003 Draft was insane Superstar wise but depth wise i feel like 2008 is better.

hibbert or mcgee would be better for them.they dont need scoring from the center position.they need rebounding and defending, neither of which brook provides

You really think the 4th pick is worth it for Mcgee or Hibbert? it seems a bit high. Im guessing thunder are really desperate for a big man

I think if Westbrook wasn't there, the Thunder take Beasley or Gordon.

And no way the knicks stick with gallinari. If Gordon beasley or mayo are there, they take one of them.

they'd trade down or use the pick on one of the sg's,mayo or gordon.they'd need a secondary scorer,as westbrook who is that current6ly would already be taken(harden and thabo dont exist on their roster yet)

At this point in there career I think Gallinari has more trade value then Mayo. Gallinari's a 6'10 Small forward, Mayo's a 6'4 guard who doesn't play much defense Neither does Gallinari but i would think gallinari has better defense then mayo, and not to mention gallinari also isnt a head case. As for beasley..Maybe id take him over gallo but def. not Mayo.

That would be smart, but losing westbrook would be a big hit to that team. Tbh i dont know if they'd be the same. Maybe Harden/green would assume more scoring opportunities, and maybe a pass-first PG and Mcgee or Hibbert, would ease the loss of westbrook's athleticism but Westbrook is a really talented player.

I'd take Mayo. He's a better scorer, passer, and whatever advantage Gallinari's height is, it doesn't help him rebound. Plus I just don't think Memphis is the place for OJ. I actually think he'd be better served in a place like NY.

Thats 16 players that are already starting for teams. The thing i like about the 08 class is a lot of the players especially the lottery have a lot of starters/future all stars

Also, I think George Hill would go higher. Speights probably goes higher than Hickson still too.

Tough to say. Its only been 3 years. 3 years from the 2003 draft most of those lottery players were still relevant. But I do like your list.

Not that it matters, but it's Augustin, not Augustine.

Ya, I remember when he was here in Austin, people were a little confused on how to pronounce his name. I heard Augustin (Correct spelling) from broadcasters and fans at times, but it's pronounced as how you would want to spell it, Augustin(e). I'm very happy to see him living up to his potential in Charlotte. He was a huge fan favorite during his time here. If only Aldridge had stayed to play with DJ and Kevin Durant, damn that would have been sick. Keep an eye on Jordan Hamilton.

Can you imagine though Kevin Love on the Miami Heat? Quite honestly, no need for Bosh.

offensively, Love is a waaaaaaaaaay better fit for the Heat than anyone, including Bosh. Defensively, not so much.....

No Bosh = No Lebron. I can't disagree that Love might be a better fit, but Lebron wanted to play with Bosh. You bring up an interesting point though: During their Prime Years, Love is about the same in almost most advance stats (better in Rebounding), only Bosh has a slightly better WS.

However, I don't know how Love's post and pick and roll game is.

Yeah, if Mayo was available the Knicks would've taken him. In hindsight they definitely would've taken Gordon over Gallo as well.
