View Full Version : Do the Cavs break the record for most consecutive losses?

The Cavs have lost 21 games in a row and are 3 away from breaking the record set by the Cavs in the span of 2 seasons from the 1981-1982 season to 1982-1983 season.

Their next 4 games are:

Feb 2-Home vs Pacers
Feb 4-Away vs Grizzlies
Feb 5-Home vs Blazers
Feb 7-Away vs Mavericks

IMO, if they don't beat the Pacers at home, they will get the record. I don't see them winning away and they'll be on the 2nd day of a back to back when they get home. Don't see them winning in Dallas either.

They may beat the Pacers.

That's what I think is their best chance of breaking this record.

New coach. Worse out of the next 4 teams they face.

IMO, it's either that or it's almost guaranteed to be past 24.

The current record pertains to the Cavs too? Holy ****.

And yes, I believe they will if they lose to the Pacers.

I was surprised they owned the NBA record.

Then it made me realize how much Lebron made people forget about their woes before he came in the league.

I'd feel bad for them, but I'm too busy feeling bad for my raps. Regardless of how many games the cavs lose in a row, the way the raps are playing, that record might not last till the end of the season

This is pretty much their last chance to win tonight. They aren't beating the three teams after that.

They have a good chance to break that record. This current Cavs team is a laughing stock. Just filled with Role players, d-leaguers and scrubs. Getting #1 pick in the lottery THIS YEAR really doesnt help imo. I dont see any guys in this draft that are franchise players you could build around. I see alot of nice pieces and 2nd options. Cavs are screwed. Dan Gilbert actually said Cleveland would win a title before Miami???

How do you go 1-33 in your last 34 games?

Zetterberg40
02-03-2011, 03:55 AM
they are 1-33 in there last 34 games WOW un-freaking-believable if it wasn't for their decent start they would have been lucky to win 5 games all season are Jamison and Williams really that bad of players now

I never thought Mo was any good. He benefited from playing next to Lebron. Jamison skills are diminishing. Hes a 4 or 5th option now. This whole roster needs to be GUTTED!!!

Only players on Clevelands roster worth anything is Hickson and Varaejao. Sideshow Bob brings constant effort and energy and defense. Perfect for a contending team. Hickson looks like he could be a player if you put actual talent around him

Getting a top tier young 2nd option is still a good thing. The don't even have a 2nd option tier talent on their roster right now (as I don't count Jamison).

They drafted Boozer the year before they got LeBron and that could have been a nice combo. Hopefully if they get Sullinger or another player they can be part of their 1-2 punch.

They'll beat Memphis. MEM is gonna come in thinking its an easy one but CLE will play hard to avoid the shame of setting a negative record.

They'll steal one in Memphis.

Btw how close is WAS to setting a record for most consecutive road losses in the NBA?

That record is gonna fall, sorry to say it Cleveland fans, I feel bad for you and I'm a fan of the most disfunctional organization in the NBA, The Warriors. I hope you get a W over Indiana or Memphis, or both and prove me wrong though. Good luck.

Zetterberg40

I would give them a chance against Memphis but I don't see them beating them on the road. The Grizz are only half a game out of the 8th spot and won't lose to Cleveland at home IMO worst part is if they beat the Cavs than the team who is in the 8th spot plays Cleveland I don't see these teams fighting for the last spot losing to the Cavs.

Then its Dallas on the road I'm about 95% sure we are going to see that record broken after that I think they will have to beat Detroit or it may continue Clippers are playing good and Washington is deff going to want that road win when they come to Cleveland

The only game I see them winning is possibly the Wizards game. One way or another one of them teams has to break their streak.
