02-02-2011, 05:05 PM
Darko... I know he was 2, but he had at least 3 number ones taken after him(Melo, Bosh, Wade)

Him and Sam Bowie are the worst draft picks ever, not the biggest busts ever, but definitely the worst picks.

too early to say oden, but lebron was drafted to bring championships to cleveland and failed horribly, i would say olawakandi and kwame brown as well

He was brought in to win games and put butts in seats. This is a business, they got him because the fans wanted him. All players are taken in the hopes that they'll bring them championships.

Considering he carried a horrible team to the finals, I wouldn't say he failed horribly. Tracy McGrady failed horribly.

Sad that you truely think oden is the worst ever. If he never was injured, he woulda been a very decent player.

I agree with Kwame freaking Brown though

Ok, this is a lie. Cleveland was Top 5 worst team in the whole league and got lucky when they landed Lebron James. Who turned that franchise around as soon as he arrived.

I wouldnt call a Finals Appearace, Conference Finals Appearance, & multiple 60-win seasons....failing horribly.

Anybody saying Oden will be eating a pound of crow once he gets healthy for a full season.(It will happen, even if only 1 time) He showed in Portland he was already an Elite rebounder, shot blocker, & could score in the low post. Just needs to work on getting acclimated to the system by actually playing more games.

For everyone sayin Oden he's a really good player just can't stay helathy.

I guess saying G.Oden was unfair. I guess just the fact that he has been injured almost his whole career, and the fact that they missed out on K.Durant made me make that assumption

I'm going to have to go ahead and pick LeBron.

Arch Stanton
02-02-2011, 10:56 PM
Luke Jackson. I know he wasn't a #1 pick. But he was picked in the first round by the Cavs. He sucked in the NBA. There were much better players selected after him.

I hope these people saying Monta Ellis are being sarcastic to piss off Warriors fans since he was pick # 40 haha

It has to be Kwame followed by the Kandi Man

rusty larue picked before Julius Erving.

he was OUT of the league IN 4 YEARS

02-03-2011, 01:07 AM
It has to be Olawakandi. Yes Kwame was a horrible #1 pick but he still is in the league. Greg Oden is looking like he will be a bust too. If he can not come back and make a full recovery and be 100% like he was in college then he will be a horrible pick esp since he was picked before Durant.

JasonJohnHorn

Larue Martin, Pervis Ellison.

Pervis Ellison ended up winning a MIP award and was a solid big man as he progressed. Certainly better than Candy Man and Kwambe Brown.

Larue Martin though... never heard of him, looked him up, and you may be spot on with that one! His FG% was disgusting! Though he put up decent per-minute rebounding numbers.
