I thought that was a little comical. Evan Roberts, who is a radio personality in NY on 660WFAN and a HUGE Nets fans thought it was ridiculous as well.

Its not desperate. Its marketing. What do expect them to do, not attempt?

Fact is basketball is a buisiness and he has the potential to make that organization millions. Its NOT ridiculous....

I seriously doubt that the new arena banners were strategically placed specifically for Melo to see...If that's what your getting at?

I think it's a smart move. Nevermind Melo. If they leave those up, it's good for other players to see what they're gonna have there.

One word: Marketing

it had NOTHING to do with Anthony. Nets are just happy the process is ahead of schedule, and apparently have decided to show it's progress. It was just a coincidence the Nuggets came to town yesterday, they were going to do it anyway

The fact that they only caught Melo ad Billups looking at it on camera is a total coincidence too. It was 100000% set up for Melo.

JF, you're better than that. It has EVERYTHING to do with Anthony. That was posturing by none other than Brett Yormarket, in my opinion it was well-played, but I can understand why people find it comical. Carmelo's face was pretty funny when he glanced at the pictures.

They backed out of the possible Melo trade so this is not out of desperation. This is a giant **** you to Melo who is from Brooklyn.

They already canceld the meeting with him, they are no longer persuing him so I doubt its to make Melo want to come to the Nets.
